So can anyone confirm whether the Navigation Edition will come to our shores when? Or will Nokia ever think of bringing it in our market?

I'm doing a hard reset + fresh format of my mem card. I was wondering where are the backup files located?

Don't think the NE edition will be available here.
Anyway, it's not great. Already got Garmin mobile xt to use do NE edition will be useless.


First, where did you back up your files?
You can back up to the memory card. Then restore everything after the reset.
Or using PC suite, you can back up both your phone and memory card to the computer.

haha I backed it up on my mem card. I have made a full copy of my mem card. But not I'd like to hard reset my phone AND reformat my memory card. So i would like to know where is the backup stored on the mem card. I can only find the contacts. What about the calender?

nice..too bad i prefer garmin over nokia maps...never manged to get a locked with nokia maps not even once

i tried it once using the newest version near my house (kuching, sarawak) , i gt jack squat.....

I also prefer the default icons. But this theme is premium theme, need to pay, so i suggest the link be removed...

wow, nice one! I'd never try the OVI map before thus i don't know how it look like.

anyway, Garmin has been perfect guide for me, though i only have little knowledge on operating it. I juz use a basic feature inside it.

i try to register my nokia 5800 at nokia website , but it said the IMEI registered b4 d... is it possible the seller registered for me d ? or my set is recond set ?

Guys, I tried uninstalling Facebook apps and it got stuck halfway so i restart the whole phone.

But after that it's stuck at the Nokia logo screen, can someone pls advise wat to do?

If you installed in memory card, try remove the memory card and reboot the phone. if can reboot, afetr reboot insert the memory card, uninstall facebook and try reinstall.

have to enable the a-gps and sp internet for fast lock. if u just want to see ovi map lock, just open then ovi map after the garmin get a fix.

on ovi maps... in 3d mode... how to make building appear?

honestly.. can you just go to the F%&#ING nokia centre and ask ah..

its true.no extra stylus,stand,tv out cable,n pouch.but i use my finger to use.dont like stylus.its cheaper nw.
