By the way can anyone of you able to find ntv7 & tv8 channel? I not yet fix astro but my new sony tv only can find tv1, tv2, tv3 and tv9 channel but the signal also not that good...

I got replied from management as below:

"We just met with the collage rep and informed them of our house rules and that we do not allow any type of units being converted into a hostel.

They told us that the agent misled them on the house rules and furthermore the owners also agreed to this kind of deals.

I told them they need to move and there is no other way about it."

Hope the issue will be solved soon....

I have already forwarded my complains to management together with the picture attached.
They are currently working at it....
According to the management they will ban the agent who is responsible for the hostel conversion and is checking which units involved in Agoda.
Apparently some owner did consult with the management if they can actually do that in Agoda last year for Block A and were told off. But now some others came about it doing without their consent. (having said it's against the DMC - usage for residential dwelling only)
They are supposed to meet up with the agents today at 11am.
Residents have also filed complains about the students using the common facilities in hordes and fully clothes swimming in the pool.
Guards will be allocated in common areas in rounds to make sure that doesn't happen anymore.
It won't be good enough for me, i want to make sure that their tenancy is terminated.
Like i mentioned in my previous post, we need everyone to file complain towards the management.
It would be fruitless if only a few individuals do so.
So file your complains respectively.
The management is currently quite stressed out with the continuous complains from the residents.
Do your part and pray for the best...and work together and sort this crap out.

Agent 0189111350 pohling0203@gmail.com;contacted me last month regarding this batch of indian students.  tenancy will be sign with a company and these are the documents she sent.

when i ask further what's the college name and it's just a 2 dollar company, authorization letter not signed and the person assigned to sign tenancy agreement is a young kid, she said she'll get back to me. after a few days, she has no answer and didn't pick up my call.

i can't believe there are owners who are willing to rent out their units just with the documents i see... or maybe they have more than what i have?

Midfield owner for Block B1 here.

Keys collected dec last year....1st day, the unit looked like only 60% completed, various defects. Even the balcony grill is broken!
Took forever for YTL project team to respond on the defects, not until i threatened to send stakeholder lawyer letter then they deliver it 80% fixed by April.

For contractors, also look high and low in Midfield show units, and settled with Audrey, the ID from block A. Quite nice design, and also reasonable pricing. Intro by another forum member.

Renov done @ Aug... and yet YTL remaining 20% defect not yet finished by now... So sent in the stakeholder lawyer letter.
Crossing fingers and waiting for them to reply.

Seen a few times other owners at MO, complained that they receive units, but YTL stalled the defect repair for 1 year, in the end they settled themselves by paying $$ to fix it themselves.
They did not know about the stakeholder lawyer letter path

Also, very very frustrated with YTL (not MO) for these delayed defect repair. If there are enough people with similar experience (delayed defect repair way past 30 days), and thinking of submitting a formal petition to YTL head office.

Haven't been following up with the Astro HD and Fibre Internet issues as I am more worried about the hostel conversion for student and units being rented out as hotel.

Those two I can live without but not when the entire condo it's being hoarded by students and strangers....

As of now it was mentioned that the hotel have been given a deadline up to 31 Aug to relocate their students...let's see how it goes from here.

Having said that, the management is doing a great job by stopping them hoarding the entire common areas...as u might noticed they are no longing using the pool and etc.

Hi, just sharing. This afternoon I spoke with management (Mr.Mohan), he visited the colleague yesterday at old klang road. And spoke to some owners.

Bad news is owners said Teanancy ald signed, and who paid for the rental (Rm1800/mthly) and the cost invested to 'transform' (become hostel....). The college said had checked with agents and owners for this Hostel arrangement, but why didn't they check with the management!! I have to said, in this case are selfish agents and only businessman minded...

Good news is, they are stop to use facilities. And suppose should be 20unit going to rent as hostel, but now management is doing their best and stop at 9units(which already rented out as hostel...)

it's not positive that the students will move out end of this month. And the tenancy between owners and the college is 2yrs+1yrs.

Just now about 9pm, I can see about 6-7 (suspected are those students) sitting at the chairs beside the pool. They are sitting there talking phone and play with phone.

As long as they are taking good care of this permises and treat it as home. I still feel  comfortable with this situation. Wish a better living environment at MF.

For the middle man(agents), i understand everyone alsomcari makan. but please, put ur heart more morally. Hostel, every yr 3-4 semesters, 3-4times many diffent Group of students in and out. Its affect the privacy and living harmony of midfields. this a condo with living many families and want to get a comfortable area to stay long term. Please be more humanity....

Even if the tenancy agreement is signed, the purpose of rental is against the DMC right? Wouldn't there be a way to say the tenancy agreement invalid? I'm getting a unit in Blk B2, really don't feel like staying with a bunch of students all around. No peace and quiet.

Just wondering, if we can get rid of them, is that any house rules we can set up like say limiting a maximum of 5-6 people in each unit? I am sure there must be some building rules that limits maximum occupants to prevent overcrowding..
