It is a good property but maintenance is a bit high at 0.35 psf.

It's not a bit high but very high. Most higher-end condo developments are in the range of RM0.18 to 0.22 psf only.

Which condo you are paying 35 cents maintenance fees?

I wrote higher-end condo developments, which means higher-end than Midfields. Original selling price of RM500k-800k condos with maintenance fees 0.18 to 0.22 cents.

Midfields original price is RM230k-250k. RM0.35 cents is high.

maintenance fees RM0.28, Sinking Fund RM0.02.

2 swimming pool, 3 playground, one badminton court, yoga room, gym room, multipurpose room, footsal, bamboo garden on roof top, bbq area, 1 arce rainforest, etcs figure out urself.

First JM meeting committee decided not to lower down the the maintenance fees (in fact big profit tat time for A block), because we understand that lower down the maintenance fees are easy but in future asking for the increase will be damn difficult.

Wahh. IMHO, for development like Midfield, the maintenance fee of RM 0.30 also consider expensive dy.

so what do you think is the "right price"? current maintenance is 28 cents ..so you think maintenance should be 20 cents or maybe lower ?if you are owner, can bring it up to the next JMB ..

maybe using a prop like titiwangsa sentral that is now not in the best of shape and maintenance is "cheap" ..

i think plenty of developers are asking 0.15- 0.20cent which it is a good point for buyer as there are paying less maintenance fee thus more money to save. early years u may not require so much fund to maintain but once the prop hit 3-4yrs plenty of fund required .regardless whether midfields price 250k or 500k, u still hv to pay for cleaner, guards n etc..

no point compare to others who charge 0.20cents, coz here paying 0.35cent...we aware frm beginning tis is the fees..

After so many discussion I really can't believe the maintenance fees still being an issue....
Sometimes there are certains things u can compromise sometimes there are certain you can't....maintenance and security is one.
