just got my D-mini VX Ultra (the pos laju man kind of rajin today
 )seriously this tiny thing is bright my mag 2D XPG R5 at 1A looks silly,i know this thing is bright because my eye balls are hurting while looking at the beam (not stare at the business end ok )with AW IMR 18650 is superb for outdoor for longer runtime but with AW IMR 16340 is no slouch either but with my titanium cr123 it won't turn on. add some detoxit pro gold and now it's even better. Thanks to old newspaper for the GB,without your help we would have bought this D-Mini at a higher price. Maybe i will joint the KD trail after all,we'll see. |

Got my parcel of D-mini VX Ultra and the Vantage tele-force kit
 (extra early from poslaju today) Thank you especially to Old Newspaper and also all participants for another successful GB. Judging by sight, 1) D-mini VX Ultra with 18650 provide a much brighter hot-spot then my MTE SSC P7. 2) Vantage neutral white with the tele-force kit about the same as the Eagletac P100c2 neutral white Pictures? Camera is ready but cameraman ( my humble self )  got a lot to learn so got to wait ya! Any body providing free photography courses?MiniMoke. can u measure how much the D-mini ultra current draw ?? Lumapower said on high mode it draw 1.5A i m curious on the Lo & Med mode. |

Hmmm looks like our flashlight community is getting much more active within these few weeks...
Now with more flashlights, we definitely need a hard casing to carry our lights!! Could anyone recommend me some? And not too expensive.. say within a budget of Rm150.. haha Are they any? PS. jwyj, this is the photo of replacing the MN03 bulb with a Mini Maglite 2AA bulb, it runs on 3.2V LifePO4 and gives very white beam of Xenon lights. It is as bright as the MN01, but it is flood, so the hotspot is dimmer, but much bigger.
Left is MN03 Mid id MN03 with replaced bulb Right is the E Series Micro Tower http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=186193 So, now I will try to make my own E Micro Tower, prefer a adjustable of Throw or Flood Bulb. May buy a cheap like to modify it, like the Ultrafire C3 I told you before http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1993 or wait for LF bulb to modify.
