She had a traumatized trip on her first trip out and leaving her mommy, sure will scare for a while. Next 2 days she would be settled down fine.

That's a good sign that she is able to drink and eat!! We should be worried when piggies doesn't want to eat or drink. laugh.gif

Oh, btw, regarding the comb, I went to the petshop this afternoon, it is currently out of stock, the owner is waiting for the new stock coming. Once the stock arrived, I will post it to you.

Haha...GP can't resist to tear the paper when they see one! You can give her toiler roll coil to play and bite.

Hmm.....she so used to that behaviour as she was living with 6 GPs in one cage and fighting for food in the bowl. Some of the gps would quickly jump into the food bowl, and use thier butts to block out others.

Give her some time, once she knows no one will fight with her for the food in this big cage, she would probably no longer mesh up the food bowl.

Oh..You like that one tri-color with cream, dark choc and white  type?   But currently I put the father alone (the father exactly same color).  Not enough female to accompany him. I don't really fancy breeding pure Abby.  I prefer to breed out nicer-look Abby, like Abbyruvian, longer fur type.  Recently trying to focus on breeding out Coronet and pure Sheltie babies first. Wait till my female Abbyruvian (also tri-color) mature enough then only breed her with that tri-color Abby.

Recently I'm also buzy with collecting nice looking rabbits too.  I have 5 pairs of long fur coat type of rabbits.

Hahahaha... that's so funny...

Yeah, I like that one so much... a bit black, a bit light brown, a bit white..
If like that I'll wait for your tri-colour abbyruvian + tri-color male Abby... I can wait... biggrin.gif

Usually i feed my GP 24/7 pallets. Guinea pigs is an eating machine sweat.gif they can eat non-stop lol. thats y they poo alot. they can poo and eat at the same time.

Today i got 1 good news and 1 bad news to share.

The good news is, my brindle GP is doing fine. After feeding critical care and bring him to see vet, he's able to move and wheek at me today. But he stil unable to eat himself. Even, i give him sawi, he can tear the leaves but very hard to chew and cannot chew pallets. I saw his tray got a few pallets, shows that he had tried to eat but no energy. Maybe he still weak, but still can wheek at me and keep nip my hand because he's hungry. Thats make me feel so glad... made me worried for 2 days hehe. So today still hand feed him using the critical care.

The bad news is about my other GP again, Maruko. The agouti gp from Juztiny . This time is not diarhea... it's her leg. I don't know which part of her leg got problem. But can see that she keep lying sitting there the whole day. When she wan to move toward the food, can see that she's using her front leg power more than the back leg. And of course her butt keep sticking on the mat. Is it because her back leg is paralyze? I think i need to bring her to the vet for check up again. Whenever i hold her, she will wheek continuously..... i think she's crying because of the pain. I check through her bone, No broken bone and No injury. But the good thing is, she's still can eat and drink normally. So shouldn't be worry that much.

Added on February 26, 2010, 11:07 pmI felt very sad, so many things happens to my Guinea pigs.

I seriously speechless in hearing all the bad news on the GP babies I sold you. You took them home that time, they were already 5-6 weeks old babies in early Jan. They should be more stronger and healthier compare to other GP babies I sold which normally are out in 3-4 weeks old, your GPs get to drink their mom's milk for so long. sad.gif

May be you are really unlucky doh.gif , as the same batch of the babies I sold to other owners, their babies are healthy and doing fine. So it can't be due to the insufficient nutrients I fed during their babies time.

It's ok. It's my fault too that the white gp couldn't make it. I noticed her too slow. And it's not your fault too the agouti is like that. Can't blame you. Now is hope the agouti can survive this. I will take her to vet tmr and see how the vet says. If she have to bear this for the rest of her life, I don't mind taking her for the rest of her life too smile.gif

You have a maid at home right? Did your maid accidentally drop something that causing its injury? e.g. ceramic food bowl or anything? Or could it be its leg got stuck in the cage, she struggled until injury?
