QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Dec 31 2009, 09:07 AM) I don't have any normal short hair GPs, but weird thing is normal short hair breed offspring will appear, even I bred 2 Abbys together. Looks like the chances of getting normal shorthair will appear with Abby gene. |

QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Dec 31 2009, 05:48 PM) parents are out of town too. just got back from work. called the vet and its closed already. gahh! nearest time wud b monday. wanna bring her back to the vet at kelana jaya i went awhile ago. she got the same thing and the vet there treated her. mm hope she will b okay till monday. Which GP of yours have wet jaw problem? I hope it's not the baby I sold you, as the baby could not have over-grown teeth problem at 1.5 months old. Usually over-grown teething problem will start by the age of 4 months old if not monitored properly.Added on January 1, 2010, 6:53 pm QUOTE(xavi5567 @ Dec 31 2009, 09:40 PM) 0 to 6 month and pregnant pig ,alfafa hay lor.. 6 month above timothy, oat , bermuda or any other hay la. But alfafa r jus feed as treats to adult.. As alfafa contain calcium which is needed less by adult.. Baby also can be fed with other types of hays, not limit to just alfafa only. This post has been edited by Juztiny: Jan 1 2010, 06:53 PM |

QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Jan 1 2010, 08:42 PM) oh it wasnt the one that you sold to me justiny. she's perfectly fat and healthy now. hehe. its pepper, the other one that i have. yeah she's about 4months old or so. but now it seems ok already. mm not so wet. mayb its the water bowl, she dip her head too in into the bowl. but the previous time my GP experienced this, the GP died a few days after, so i was pretty worried. You don't use water bottle? Use bottle is cleaner than using water bowl, and could avoid water contamination that may causing diarrhea too. Did you check your pepper's teeth? Does the teeth look long? |

Just to share my latest pictures of the babies I bred last month. Apparently the babies Shebby I bred, 2 looks more like Peruvian, and 1 more like Sheltie. Here are the pictures can see the difference in terms of their fur comparing with Peruvian and Abby. Can also see from the pictures below that baby Peruvian fur is more fluffy than Abby baby. Peruvian baby fur will grow even longer as it grow older, this picture is taken when the Peruvian baby is 5 weeks old.

QUOTE(rumizu @ Jan 13 2010, 08:16 AM) they are soooo cute.. Peruvian babies all sold. May be when I decided to migrate then will sell off my adult Peruvians.btw, is the peruvian for sale? the one that i hev is a shebby.. at first, it looks like an american.. but after a few weeks, the fur gets longer and now juz like a normal pure breed sheltie.. from what i know, if A breeds with B the result will either A or B only.. maybe for some cases A will have some traits of B (or the other way around) but usually not major la.. In regards to breeding experience, I have 2 times incident that an abby with a sheltie, comes out american breed alike baby (which is Xiaomen), same goes with abby and abby too, also have once like this. Very strange...most likely that abby has strong traits of american breed in it. This post has been edited by Juztiny: Jan 13 2010, 03:03 PM |

QUOTE(5h1rl3y @ Jan 15 2010, 10:03 PM) Up to 7 years or more. Depending on how much quality (healthy) food you gave to your gp.Some petshops will tell you up to 3 years, because they feed rabbit pellets to the gp, no wonder cannot live long. |

QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Jan 18 2010, 02:08 PM) yeah haha. Don wanna get unhealthy 1. it's kinda hard to get a healthy gp at my place of at petshop. I am willing to pay more to get them from a good home breeder (even from KL)... even though it's a little pain in the wallet, but still worth it Chamy,I saw you are going to sell off your crested mixed Sheltie, why? It is quite unique, why don't you keep it? This is my little panda color abby. I like its even marking. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(5h1rl3y @ Jan 20 2010, 04:27 PM) So when do you think they'll be born? If i were at the right time i'd love to have one.. and i don't mind if they're mixed breed.. Usually GP sow will pregnant for 2 months long. But this Peruvian of mine, I think she already pregnant for 1 month, as I can fell her babies inside. So another 1 month to go for her to deliver.Btw how long does it take for a sow to be pregnant till its due date? QUOTE(Crys_Crys @ Jan 20 2010, 05:23 PM) do you know any home breeder with long long buly breed de guinea pig?? cause i wan bulu bulu one like my shih tzu-s Sheltie breed has long silky fur and will look like Shih tzu.Added on January 21, 2010, 2:39 pm QUOTE(SugarCoatedCandy @ Jan 21 2010, 12:59 PM) Long fur breeds are called shelties/peruvians.. or coronet.. explore the different breed. They are not cheap and hard to comeby. Home breeders may sell them cheaper but i think still 3 digits. Pet shops will always overprice them.. close to RM200. http://www.diddly-di.fsnet.co.uk/Breeds%20&%20Varieties.htm This post has been edited by Juztiny: Jan 21 2010, 02:39 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(kaoru himura @ Jan 21 2010, 06:40 PM) Yes, that is my Sheltie. Not Peruvian! It is a Sheltie. Well... to keep Peruvian and Sheltie, it is best to bath them with conditional shampoo for kitten/puppy/small animal. Then their fur coat will be more manageable.Added on January 22, 2010, 1:01 am QUOTE(soekma88 @ Jan 22 2010, 12:21 AM) everything unexpected! started from adopting bella who was pregnant...luckily, all babies born healthy... Congrats! Consider very lucky for a first timer, all babies born safely. Still have to observe your babies weight and mom for the next 2-3 days. Just to make sure the SOW do feed the babies milk, or make sure the babies know where to suck milk. This post has been edited by Juztiny: Jan 22 2010, 01:01 AM |

This batch of Peruvian babies will not have broken colour. Possibility color is pure white, white & black, or white & grey. I sold my last batch Peruvian babies cheaper than petshops but still 3 digits figure. The link juztiny gave, I lmao when i saw the hairless piggy... that's just hilarious.. poor little thing... |

QUOTE(xavi5567 @ Jan 22 2010, 06:08 PM) hai.. wanna ask can i put crystal type bedding in the toilet triangle and then only mix with the recycled type bedding.. i thought of this bcos my pig pee too much.. the bedding got wet and it drying rate is not as fast as the peeing rate of my pigs.. 1 day only almost full d.. I think you can, as long as your GP won't swallow that crystal bedding. It should help to reduce the pee odor too. I never tried this method on my GPs, but used this crystal for cat before. |

QUOTE(5h1rl3y @ Jan 22 2010, 05:30 PM) could you pm me the price as well? thank you I'm hoping to get same like this grey and white color too (like little lamb). Last time this one died because the SOW was inexperienced and refused to milk feed the baby. This time the SOW is more experienced.if white & black like ur one of the baby gp you posted b4, that's fine with me too..
