Nicely done... But dont forget a toilet area.. If not i bet ur bedding of the cars is gonna be gone in 3 days.. Lol.. The trick to ask them to go use the toilet is u cover d toilet top a bit ...like build a roof under d toilet.. They will and might sleep there though but most of d time they will do their business there and ur house/tent for d guinea pig is also coroplast right? They will flip it over in no time.. Lol..mine did it do.. And d end i jus removed them..
And do clip ur fleece to the base.. If not they will try to pull it out of place with they mouth and go under it..anyway kudos on d cage..very nice indeed..
*

Oh okay thanks for the idea, yea now I'm combining their poops at one area hoping they will observe that place for pooping. Yes that's the coroplast hand-made house, I cable-tie tied it up so won't get destroy by them. Hmm I'm using carpet at the moment, so the material is thick and heavy, I want to see how long can it last for the pee smell.

QUOTE(orion18 @ Mar 25 2010, 08:19 AM)
nice cage ....  rclxms.gif
i used to do mine like that..but they poo everywhere... at the toilet only 50% sad.gif

anyway, now i am using a dog [3 feet by 2feet] and line it with bathroom mat..
i just have to clean the tray and bathroom mat!

very clean and they do not get urine or poo.... though occasionally when their poois too big tongue.gif
*

Thanks! Ya that's actually normal, collect and clean the poop to make sure the cage is clean and they are clean too else stepping their own poop and laying down on the wet pee area. That is the normal rabbit cage I assumed which I think the most convenience cage ever since there's tray so much useful, just throw the newspaper and replace with new one.

Im using Oxbow. I dont really like Hagen due to their strong smell and their large-sized pellets.

You can also rent house in Dengkil area, I think the rental would be even cheaper. Dengkil to Cyberjaya is very very near, less than 2 min drive.

Hagen considered the cheapest among all the acceptable quality gp pellets. Actually I still can get RM16 for a 5 lb packet.

If you could afford, you should switch to Kaytee or Oxbow. Based on my experience these 2 brands provide better nutrition for my gps than Hagen.

I can't remember, but the quality is better, it is in a harder plastic type.

I guess depends on the location of where you stay too, frankly I never seen Timothy hay before, went to almost all of the pet shops in Melaka, no one sells them, unless the new Jusco has this purple pack Hagen pellets.

Oh okay thanks!

Anyone knows any tips to prevent them from getting wet for stepping on the wet-pee area inside C&C? I'm thinking putting floor mat but then it spoiled the whole decoration.

The carpet actually absorb their pee, but still takes time to let the wet area to dry and they are not fully toilet-trained at the moment, so they are running and jumping about and stepping on the wet area.
