Not exactly earlier this season. It's just last month on Boxing Day! Haha! And Malouda was sent off. Frustrating game indeed, Birmingham was on the back of a 10 match non-losing streak that time if I'm not mistaken.

Btw, it's always quiet here, not like the days of 03-06 season where  everyone was practically bombarding this thread every hour.

Well, maybe not at Stamford Bridge. Over here, we all have our own record to protect too. smile.gif

we cannot settle for anything less than a win. we're the ones under pressure to win to level points.

its top of the league. looks like lampsy found his shooting boots he lost in the dressing room or something. joey cole and malouda with some defense breaking dribbling and anelka, always so good, so consistent, he eats defenders for breakfast!

anyone saw that awesome save by cech? biggrin.gif

Tremendous performances and Lampard really decent in 4-3-3 formation. Ancelotti need to using this kind of tactic that really suit with chelsea play. 4-4-2 diamond working too but need to changed according to game and opponent. Can see Lampard really lively while Malouda look good today.

lampsy's first goal was really awesome. that is what happens when you give lampard that fraction of time and space, he punishes you from outside the box! the whole team really deserve praise for their performance last night, ivanovic, ashley cole and deco were stealing alot of possession for us, especially deco, he looked good playing the middle of midfield, less passes for the strikers, but much more beneficial to the whole team defensively. the center backs and cech were also on top form i would say, terry with those awesome tackles, the ref had to excuse to blow for a foul at all.

nad clearly CA displayed midfield superiority last nite. and sent the flare out saying that we are strong and dangerous in this part of field as well. quality play by lampard.
