True, we blew away our chances. Lampard's miss, Drogba's inches wide shot..etc

Do you guys think the equalising goal for MC was controversial? Replays show a handball before adebayor(that prick)slot the ball in.
*
no controversial la, thats not a hand ball, he was making himself small by pulling in his arms to his body. but the ball still hit his forearm/elbow , adebayor still need to do a lot of work before slotting in the ball.

all in all , chelsea didnt played well and lose, not taking anything away from man city which played superbly . even the chance to level it at 2 - 2 was dashed away by the penalty miss. sums up the bad night all together. man city deserved the win. congrats to them. the lost is a humbling experience.

its ok , we are still on top with a 2 point gap , KTBFFH

p.s: some cliche posting by fan after his team has lost is , " btw who is going to wear <insert team name> jersey today ? " has that been posted in our thread before? whistling.gif huhu

^ haha, ive seen that somewhere in *cough* thread..

but anyway, I am wearing today to work XD~ preparing to be shot at, around....2pm when my rival colleague comes lol...

we had a chance to win, we blew it... we had a chance to at least draw...blown also..

now its 2pts gaps, means next if MU win, we draw/lose, we dropped the top seat.

5 points ahead was our immunity, still hold 1st place standing... now immunity is gone. 1 more same outcome then we're down the drain...please don't...

go pang sai sin... raise the blue flag!

Gotta admit we are thoroughly beaten in every department guys. Man City definitely looked the more desperate and hungrier side to win the game. They were literally throwing themselves at every opportunity to attack. Their tactic of depriving us from ball possession worked like a charm.

We were limited to intercepting the odd stray passes from them, clearing and blocking helplessly! It's simple really, if you don't get keep the ball, you don't really stand a chance of creating chances. Everyone was below par this morning. The were certain periods of the game when I felt we were up against Barcelona of last season! No kidding!

Now with the lead at the top being trimmed to 2 points, we must do anything possible to bounce back from this setback! This season is the most exciting yet with surprises thrown in from every corner. We need to improve on our erratic away form. Superstitious or not, our away kit is pretty jinxed isn't it? Haha.

same im wearing it to work as well now.........

they pressed the ball really well , playing high up the pitch. defending from the front. how many times chelsea back 4 need to pass back to cech for a rush clearance.

ps: loser work on sunday!!!! dammnn it...

well, i guess...speedy team has a lot of advantage against possession-whores team like us hehe..

SWP is really SWeePy ..his cut-in dribbles are so troublesome even pacey A.Cole had troubles closing down on him.

SWP, Robinho, Tevez these roadrunners deserved what they worked for..our counter attack also slow. Drogba had few chances IINM, there was once or twice Drogba was almost 1on1 with Given, but also blocked.

Credits to Man City for winning the game.
This game shows that we really need the players with pace & flair.
Hopefully, Joe Cole will be fit again.

Ancelotti is a good manager but he make some mistake last night, We didn't have any winger start of the game

Should start with Malouda instead of Deco / Ballack

Yesterday Cech was abit shaky... especially the part where he come out hopelessly to punch a ball and gave city a free header. Great reflex clearance from Carvalho though.

And why did he move the other way first during Teves free kick..

i think he moved the right way but he was takin by surprise since the ball came thru the hole created by mancity players in the wall. by then, it was already too late.

this defeat is quite damaging i think.. it shows that even if we can beat all members of the top 4, our away form (in THE AWAY kit is still worrying) and 2 defeats in a week. especially games against the title pretenders. matches like this make or break our season. even if we're sitting(not too comfortably) at the top with only 2 points. seriously, guys we cannot afford to do a liverpool or arsenal two seasons ago if we want to be champs.

somehow, i think we were getting complacent and overconfident. remember a week ago or so, JT came out and reportedly saying that the Blues are feeling invincible again? i guess this is a humbling defeat. i'd prefer if our captain and co. comes out in the press and focus on what's present rather than the future, progress rather than outcome. we certainly do not want to be labeled as a cocky, arrogant club like certain fans who keeps gloating bout their titles won even before they were born and as if they were part of the history.

it's really something for CA and the boys to think about. it's not bad times but certainly the potential to be in one is very dangerous. i hope they do come back stronger..
