You're just too good to be true, can't take our eyes off of you, you've got a dazzling first touch, you're a diamond to watch.

We're so glad you have arrived, to our great Chelsea side, you're just too good to be true, can't take our eyes off of you.

Part of the way that you play,it takes the blues away, the sight of you on the pitch seeing all those nets ripped.
Makes us feel really brill, when you make it three nil, you're just too good to be true can't take our eyes off of you.

We love you Frankie, you're Chelsea through and through,
we love you Frankie, you are a boy in blue,
we love you Frankie, you're always on the ball x2

Because we love you Frankie, yes we love you!!!

yar...3rd april...is the decider!

that is definitely the match of the season!

arsenal slipped 2 points already, so the dark horse is now in a slower pace.

must take full advantage of next fixtures!

Oh one more thing, Kalou kinda impress me. biggrin.gif He play quite good and score a goal too.
Wonder will he on bench or on first 11 against MU.
Anelka is way to slow. He cant get all those high ball easily like Drogba.
Malouda on left forward is a must.

20th goal of the season sir boot. Unless you meant to say his 21st goal will be on next Saturday.  laugh.gif

it was his 21st in all competitions! flex.gif

personally for me it was more like zhirkov appreciation week though. he was slightly guilty for not sticking close enough to carew, but i'd give the benefit of the doubt to him as young's cross was an absolute nightmare to defend. even ashley would've struggled to intercept that, such was the quality of the delivery. that goal could've knocked the confidence of any defender, more so one who's still new to the epl. instead, yuri comes out all guns blazing by winning TWO penalties and serves up a beautiful assist for malouda! easily his best game in a blue shirt, and the timing of those penetrating runs were breathtaking! he knows he doesn't have the physique so he makes up for it by ghosting in between defenders at blinding speed, and villa just couldn't handle him today.

i'm not going to make light of lampard's contribution either, as he made the breakthrough, with the first and last goal particularly highlighting the right place, right time instinct of our no.8. he was instrumental throughout the game and deserved his four goals.

another unsung hero in midfield was mikel. made countless interceptions/tackles and was very composed in possession, regardless of how many times he got closed down. used his strength to nonchalantly shrug off challenges, and some telling forward passes show that carlo is slowly coaxing out the other part of his gameplay which we all know exist.

malouda continues to be our most in-form player and the two goals highlight the frenchman's sky-high confidence. both were well taken first time shots, and friedel had no chance with either of them.

last but not least a special mention goes out to kalou who had the most difficult chance to convert from a tight angle, and did it with unerring accuracy. a sweet strike after good unselfish play by nico, who was a bit unlucky himself not to get a goal.

7 goals again, without didier drogba in the team. it really is becoming a question on whether we actually play better without him, as each player needs to work extra hard when there's no option to play a long ball. hmm.gif

old trafford next!

Most of all you might have notice Malouda's special goal celebration in recent weeks, the one where he showed the '2' and '5' signs. I was quite curious about what it meant the first time I saw it, I think it was around late January/early February this year so I decided to search for more info. It turned out that his goal celebration was actually in support of the Haiti earthquake victims. What a great lad he is. Keep it up Flo' Mo!

from the game we know tat we need a real right winger .. see malouda-ashley-zhirkov-aanholt , the left side already perfect for now ..

kalou can score , but joey cant ..

what i like about the villa win is well...because its ASTON FRIGGIN' VILLA. they have..i mean HAD the meanest defense in the premier league, and we ripped them to pieces! and this is the same team that humbled man utd 1-0 at old trafford, via some heroic defending as well. its the perfect tonic to face them at the weekend, confidence booster and all that. i'm sure many here are enjoying their monday morning after what happened on saturday eh! smile.gif
