Hey guys,
Anyone watching C ? It looks like it is making a comeback. Perhaps on its way back to $4 soon. Update 4:25am Repurchased back 1/2 of TCK @ 38.70, since already scalped 1.2K for swing trade but I think TCK going to see 40 soon. It looks like ERX is going to 50 'coz of the extreme cold weather in US, therefore I'm holding. I'm watching CDII as well. This Chinese magnesium stock has risen more than 45% last two days. Maybe got opportunity to scalp some trades here. Closing update: Dow 10573.68 +1.66 +0.02% Nasdaq 2301.09 -7.62 -0.33% S&P 500 1136.52 +0.62 +0.05% Note: C has closed above 3.6, looks bullish to me. QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Jan 7 2010, 09:17 AM) Earning like 10% for C now.. Be careful. Never go all in no matter how tempting it is.Seems like can use it as second source of income soon. Then can pump in money.. Can we get consistent return? Win some today, take some off, one will continue to reap more profits tomorrow. Beware of being piggy.. never let the piggy inner self takes over. |

QUOTE(mH3nG @ Jan 7 2010, 11:05 PM) Hopefully it'll come before CNY. The last time it went all the way up to USD5 I was still sitting on it hoping for it to reach higher. The easiest thing to do is to just BUY a stock.. but knowing when to sell is the key to maximize profits.Grave mistake. Try set your trailing stop to protect your profits next time. |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jan 8 2010, 01:06 AM) LVS target set at 19-20$ Both LVS and MGM seems to be still in channel price play until they break out. Both was upgraded as BUY 3 days back. Now LVS toppish and MGM trying to hit 11. Sold mine for peanut both few days back. Still cheap dollar is a FEAR factor. All "BAD" news are absorbed.. If they're toppish, I agree that short is the way to play on the way down. But, you may want to set SL in case they do break out. One never know in this crazy market. I don't have a good feeling about the unemployment numbers coming out tomorrow, this could give a reason for stocks to pullback after the gains since early this week. Therefore, I've trimmed some off at ERX @ 46 yesterday after hours yesterday. Oil is at all time high and this crazy weather hitting US is causing the major spike in energy prices. Hopefully, it may be resilient enough to sustain another leg up before going south. Closing update 5:06am: Dow 10606.86 +33.18 +0.31% Nasdaq 2300.05 -1.04 -0.05% S&P 500 1141.68 +4.54 +0.40% Wow! Another pushed up by the Dow. Look at GE today. This long stagnant stock suddenly got a 5% bump. Nice! This post has been edited by danmooncake: Jan 8 2010, 05:08 AM |

QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Jan 8 2010, 07:42 AM) My Sogotrade does not have trailing stop, buy after market, etc.. I'm using TD Ameritrade and it has trailing stops, can hold long and short positions at the same time, Can recommend which US broker is cheap and have all these functions? Because will pump in second batch of money.. Added on January 8, 2010, 7:44 amC only up 1 cents today... Level 2 access, and bunch of other tools for beginners and sophisticated traders. $10 a trade. |

Bought back some FUQI 20.60 during open. They got a new business opportunity.
Good news indeed. See this press release: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/FUQI-to-Excl....html?x=0&.v=10 Added on January 9, 2010, 6:04 am Closing Update Dow 10618.19 +11.33 +0.11% Nasdaq 2317.17 +17.12 +0.74% S&P 500 1144.98 +3.29 0.29% Guess what.. the worse than expected unemployment numbers do not matter. QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Jan 9 2010, 12:51 PM) I thought you just complained Sogotrade does not have trailing stop or after hours trading? What about execution? Fast? Slow? Well, only you know what you need. But, I'm telling you and I do like TD Ameritrade. Fastest execution, no issue with after hours orders, customized orders, and I'm with ok the transaction fees 'coz I make it back easily. Oil going into volatility mode again, therefore I'm day trading again.
Sold 1/2 ERX @ 47.50 during open. Repurchase back @ 45.50 30 mins ago for $2 play. $1K profit for this brief pullback. Hopefully, ERX will get to $50 by next week. Looks like everyone piling into commodities before Alcoa reports later. MGM players: Did you guys see that pop? Looks like a break out to me. Shorts be careful here. Closing update: Dow 10663.99 +45.80 +0.43% Nasdaq 2312.41 -4.76 -0.21% S&P 500 1146.98 +2.00 +0.17% This post has been edited by danmooncake: Jan 12 2010, 05:30 AM |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jan 12 2010, 09:16 AM) Crazy MGM. Sold at 9.85, now breaks 11.15. Gila. Poor AA, they didn't make it.AA is not as attractive in price, as traders already factored in the good report. For UYG, it moved by 70cts in less than 2 weeks. Duh! Missed it. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/12/business...er=yahoofinance After hours tanked badly. |

Sold all my ERX for near $4.5K profit after holding it for nearly 1 1/2 weeks.
It looks like the cold weather has subsided in US and Oil is now dropping. Hopefully, we are going to get some decent pullback today. |

QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Jan 12 2010, 10:42 PM) C needs to break support at 3.4 first. That's another leg down and it won't happens ifthe banks are reporting positive earnings this 4th quarter. Closing update: Dow 10627.26 -36.73 -0.34% Nasdaq 2282.31 -30.10 -1.30% S&P 500 1136.22 -10.76 -0.94% A bit of a pullback only. No biggie. But, look at MGM, trigger shorts to cover or squeeze for a few more days. This post has been edited by danmooncake: Jan 13 2010, 06:28 AM |

QUOTE(AnonyNite @ Jan 13 2010, 09:53 PM) Don't be fooled by them. GS are crooks. They're long before the upgrade, and short after the upgrades.Once it has gone out of price range, wait for it to settle and see if the price support can form a base first, otherwise you'll be trapped. |
