I've unloaded remaining MGM @ 9.53 with trailing stop.
I don't know why but I don't like MGM movement today.

We had 6th days of up and this would be the 7th trading day if we close in green.
Oil going to 80 soon. The bulls are relentless, aren't they?

It seems that the market cannot sustain 7 straight trading days of gains after all.

Some PUTs buyer have their ass handed to them on the gold platter for the last 6 months.
Their imploding price decay killed 'em. Unless you got your timing right, don't play with options.
But, some puts protection does help to offset the loss in volatile sectors like Energy.

Tonight, we seeing the Dollar rebounding a bit, hence major indexes are down, basic materials are getting some pullback (watching TCK dip, I''ll be grabbing more here at low 36), energy like Oil holding up going towards 80 soon.
I'll also be buying ERX on pullback.

We had 6 days of up, 2 days of down (including tonight), it seems pretty normal pullback to me.
Just buy this dip!

TCK is getting attractive.. come to papa!

Update:
Pulled the trigger: 1000 TCK 35.70 SL:35.60

Also, got some FUQI at 17.90 during opening before the POP up.
Hopefully, we'll get to 19.

Earnings won't suck for Q4 because the guidance are so low anyway. With year end holiday purchases, the retail sector will get a huge boost up as with credit cards like Mastercard and Visa. Buy 'em on pullback. Definitely winners!

Looks green but we got a flat day. I was expecting more pullback but not enough bad news to drive this market down.

So as long you don't get drunk and accidentally pressed the wrong buttons at your computer terminal, eg. BUY instead of SELL or vice-versa or input in the wrong price! LOL!!

Anyway, tonight we got low volume. Currently more sellers than buyers and we're pulling back a bit despite much better unemployment claims numbers and energy prices are actually higher.

This low volume itself is a small dip and could be good if you want to start a small position.

I'm ending my shift early tonight and may not be around to post closing update.
Anyway, wish everyone here a very HAPPY and SAFE NEW YEAR!!

Looks like everything is green, all ready for new highs and feeling optimistic.

Look at Oil, touching $81 again. Dollar going downhill.

Other commodities like Sugar and Gold popped up big time..

Still holding FUQI, ERX, XPP, and a boat load of TCK.
I've a feeling we're going higher for at least 1 or 2 more trading session. Hope I'm right.

Update:
FUQI got a uplift pop above 200 MA. Setting my trailing stop to 25 cents. Go FUQI go!

Weird..my trailing stop for FUQI hasn't hit yet. I guess I'll just let it ride till the end of the day and see what happens.

Update 3:30am:
FUQI finally hit my trailing stop: 19.30. Sold! Ka ching!
If it drops below 18 again, I'll load up again.

My ERX now is bursting through $43.. still holding here.
I would like to see Oil going to $85.

Decided to trim my ERX position by half after hours. No profit is bad.

After reaching yesterday high, any slight "less" good news, we will see a pullback. But, any pullback below 10500 now is a buy. Crude oil continues go up again tonight.

Hopefully, ERX may touch $45 soon.

North? Yeah right, this market is toppy already. Look again.

Airline stocks seem to be making moves here: look at UAUA, CAL, AMR
Big boys are buying 'em.

We got small caps pulling back tonight but other sectors are moving forward.
Dollar firming up and trading sideways as with Gold and Silver.
Shipping stocks like DSX (I'm holding this in my portfolio) and DRYS are also moving up with BDI rising.

Oh boy.. feeling tempted to take my profit for TCK now. Hit another 52 weeks high.
