There's always tonight's C earnings report which may indicate sentiment for the night After hours, theres AAPL. For AAPL, its like 99% that they will beat estimates!! (Like last quarter, best EVER PERFORMING QUARTER!) Btw, AAPL got upgraded after hours on Friday to USD 300

Haha, me too Just stating that with AAPL's most probably outstanding & mind blasting results, that should add a certain amount of cheer into the market unless something extremely horrible happens later like Greece goes to hell! LOL

LOL, GOOG advertising related bro. With them pulling out of China (SUCH A HUGEEEEEE MARKET), that kinda worries investors a lot

As for AAPL, they are constantly launching product revamps (software + hardware wise) + new innovative products (eg:iPad - check out their sales - had to delay international release as it was WAYYYYYY over in demand). Cash wise and liquidity, just check out their past 4 years, insanely cash rich, able to tap into all sorts of opportunites to invest or expand. Quarter on quarter, they beat estimates EVEN throughout the recession. Not once they reported negative earnings throughout the 2008-2009 crash.

If iam not mistaken, dmc said long ago that he has vested interest in AAPL, I kinda regret that I did not go in when it was USD 150+ as I felt it might not be worth while at that time but LOOK AT IT NOW! USD 300 is a really possible target. If only I bought when Steve Job's was diagnosed with his sickness and the stock tumbled due to sentiment to 80+ LOL.

Yeah, i meant in 2009 not what DMC bought at LOL. I have no idea at what price did he get into it. Yeah, different CORE business and whatever AAPL seems to touch, they seem to be eating through, advancing towards market share leadership.

I doubt C will be able to hit past 5.05 for this week, with financial reform discussions this week, GS case pending & the CEO has to talk to the senate today IINM, mixed results between MS & WFC and taxation on the banks, looks like more downward pressure.

Thanks for the tip, might consider getting more if TCK breaks USD 40. Gonna watch Hang Seng closely today, if they break their 50MA and 200MA, might load up on some FXP pre market and maybe even more if jobless claims is crap!

IMHO, I think financial stocks might get some hammering due to ALL the talk about the GS incident, Financials to be taxed on their 'crimes' & new financial reforms to be discussed today. So, maybe staying on the sidelines for a while might be a good conservative approach.
