QUOTE(zamans98 @ Apr 19 2010, 03:22 PM) Crazy price of AAPL. I rather pick others than AAPL. With same amount of cash, I can earn better with LVS or MGM than AAPL. Haha, me too |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Apr 19 2010, 03:35 PM) remember GOOG? earning is good, but the "future" is uncertain plus higher overhead cost. I guess it will be the same with AAPL. If yes, then it will LIFT the market. LOL, GOOG advertising related bro. With them pulling out of China (SUCH A HUGEEEEEE MARKET), that kinda worries investors a lot As for AAPL, they are constantly launching product revamps (software + hardware wise) + new innovative products (eg:iPad - check out their sales - had to delay international release as it was WAYYYYYY over in demand). Cash wise and liquidity, just check out their past 4 years, insanely cash rich, able to tap into all sorts of opportunites to invest or expand. Quarter on quarter, they beat estimates EVEN throughout the recession. Not once they reported negative earnings throughout the 2008-2009 crash. If iam not mistaken, dmc said long ago that he has vested interest in AAPL, I kinda regret that I did not go in when it was USD 150+ as I felt it might not be worth while at that time but LOOK AT IT NOW! USD 300 is a really possible target. |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Apr 19 2010, 03:55 PM) yes bro, I understood, what I'm trying to bring to the public attention is even though the profit of the GIANTS are good, there's always some creative accounting that makes it "unattractive" Yeah, i meant in 2009 not what DMC bought at LOL. I have no idea at what price did he get into it. Yeah, different CORE business and whatever AAPL seems to touch, they seem to be eating through, advancing towards market share leadership. yes, they are in 2 different CORE business, but you can relate the same to AAPL. Google also now in Smartphone market as well. AAPL is not worth your penny. I remember bro DMC mentioned about it in Jan when AAPL was about 190+, not 150+ (sorry, no price of 150+ lately, only in June/July 2009). Anyway, better buy RBS or LVS or MGM.. Definately gotta agree with u that RBS, LVS and MGM are awesome to trade Good luck to us alll Go go C! |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Apr 20 2010, 08:52 AM) Time to short C when she hit $5.01, right now my broker won't allow to SHORT C if it fall below USD5. Yeah, indeed. Big sharks always win ! I'm kicking myself for covering the short of C. Bl**dy hell, now they say GS has a WEAK CASE. Somebody is making HUGE HUGE profit from this drama. WTF. Big sharks always win Kinda expected the great GS to prevail as we all know, GS is GS la LOL. Really influential and politically linked (sounds familiar in this country as well right? I think it might be a little risky to short C if C manages to close above USD 5 today. Up to u I guess. |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Apr 20 2010, 10:18 PM) Phew, managed to reduced C to 4.90. Damn, can't short now, its below USD5.00 Haha, i wished i could la bro. Unfortunately, cant LOL. Added on April 20, 2010, 10:18 pm Bro, can you sell me at 5.15, please? QUOTE(danmooncake @ Apr 21 2010, 04:31 AM) Closing update Hmmm, b4 C get's investigated (even if), let me clear majority of my C first please Dow 11117.06 +25.01 +0.23% Nasdaq 2500.31 +20.20 +0.81% S&P 500 1207.17 +9.65 +0.81% Wow.. another push up today. Didn't do any trading today. Just watch the green shoots to continue to grow bigger. Will see if AAPL results can boost the tech sector up tomorrow. Looks like SEC is on witch-hunt after Goldman Sach. SEC already stated that they're looking into 19 banks. What happens if C is one of them. Anyway, Goldman tanked today.. calls for Goldman to be banned in Europe is erupting! QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Apr 21 2010, 08:07 AM) sell on rally.. buy on dip.. No worries, it will come soon did not buy during dip, so nothing to sell this rally.. wait for another dip to enter.. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Apr 22 2010, 12:31 AM) You know what I'm buying now.. yes,I'm loading up on TCK. Got to accumulate some TCK at 41.50 They just have excellent quarter but coal and copper prices down now - that's great buying opportunity. Next cycle up to $46 or higher can be easily achieved. Closing update: Dow 11124.92 +7.86 +0.07% Nasdaq 2504.61 +4.30 +0.17% S&P 500 1205.93 -1.24 -0.10% The market tonight see-saw like crazy. but bulls keep buying the dip to keep this going, bears are dumping at the top. Still, market closed over a few points on the north side. The bulls may attempt again tonight at 11150 and if it fails, triple top, bam, down it goes, we will see everyone back below 11K. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Apr 22 2010, 09:06 AM) Yes, start with a small position and accumulate during pullback. Bear in mind, mining stock like TCK is very price sensitive on copper and coal demand. Last year during the crisis, copper prices have plummeted and TCK went below $10 and severely under debt. Also, China (Investment Corp) owns a lot of shares in this company 'coz they want those natural resources. Now, its price is slowly coming back up. Just like FCX (the big brother of copper mining), another great company to own. Yeah, blame goldman!! LOL Added on April 22, 2010, 9:14 am Blame Goldman, the evil empire is shorting C from the top. I doubt C will be able to hit past 5.05 for this week, with financial reform discussions this week, GS case pending & the CEO has to talk to the senate today IINM, mixed results between MS & WFC and taxation on the banks, looks like more downward pressure. Thanks for the tip, might consider getting more if TCK breaks USD 40. Gonna watch Hang Seng closely today, if they break their 50MA and 200MA, might load up on some FXP pre market and maybe even more if jobless claims is crap! May the force be with us! |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Apr 22 2010, 10:00 AM) All counters shows reddish closing after hours, which only can tell/suggest that the data in not favourable. Asian markets are diving today! But the market sentiment is entirely different angle. Hope to get C @ 4.50 Dow futures as well, down 32 at the moment. Commodites too! I guess now it all boils down to tonight's initial jobless claims & producer price inflation data If it all goes badly, 11,000 it is I guess and mr epal can Buy more on dip ! |

QUOTE(htt @ Apr 22 2010, 11:36 AM) Ahead of you Good job IMHO, I think financial stocks might get some hammering due to ALL the talk about the GS incident, Financials to be taxed on their 'crimes' & new financial reforms to be discussed today. So, maybe staying on the sidelines for a while might be a good conservative approach. |
