Could you see the buy sell Q over there? I mean, the moving status platform which the investment bank provides you. So you see many big bosses buying up?

We're at the lows now. It is expected that after FOMC meeting, the rates will remain unchanged and we will get a crazy rally again. The US govt won't let this economy fail. Obama big talk about regulating banks won't pass because we all know
the prop trading is not the cause of the financial meltdown. Low dollar will rule again, stocks will go back up.

Btw, I bought some ERX 36.90 and more TCK 35.60 during open this morning.

Therefore, I bought some Feb puts of VTI 54, TCK 33 and XPP 60.

Sold my XPP 60 puts for healthy 25% profits. laugh.gif
Breakeven for VTI and TCK puts.

Update 2:45am:
Sold ERX 39.40

Closing update:
Dow 10194.29 -2.57 -0.03%
Nasdaq 2203.73 -7.07 -0.32%
S&P 500 1092.17 -4.61 -0.42%

A flat day but a weak close. We gained about 70 points during mid day but gave them all up at close.

C closed at 3.15, which IMO is a gift for fans. If you haven't bought it, this would be a good price to start a new position.

But, I'm eyeing FAS 68 and GS 150 now. At the bottom of the BB, they definitely look attractive. nod.gif

1) Berkshire will replace BNSF in S&P stock indexes
S&P: Buffettt's Berkshire Hathaway to replace BNSF in stock indexes after buying the railroad

On Tuesday January 26, 2010, 6:02 pm
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Standard & Poor's will add Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. to its S&P 100 and S&P 500 indexes after Berkshire acquires Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

S&P announced the stock index changes Tuesday. Buffett's company will replace BNSF in both indexes after shareholders approve Berkshire's acquisition of the railroad company next month.

Berkshire shareholders agreed to split the company's Class B stock 50-for-1 last week, and that move gave Buffett's company enough liquidity to meet S&P's criteria.

Standard & Poor's spokesman David Guarino says Berkshire, based in Omaha, Neb., is a good fit in the indexes because the company represents the U.S. economy and stock market well.

Berkshire shares jumped 7.5 percent to $73.08 in after-hours trading.

C is now at 3.15, its movement will depends on:
1) Fed rate
2) Ben contract renew

Even the above two news are positive, the investor might just sell the news.

DOW may see 9k soon.. i guess.. wink.gif

State of the Union address may impact the markets too. So lets watch.
I also cut loss on C, but intend to pick it up later when the market more stable.

Let it break below 10K first before we can even predict 9K. The market will most likely do a hard bounce up first.
Remember, the low Dollar policy hasn't change. Nothing beats it for now.

The bad news already been here in for months... except people just choose to ignore it.
Fundamentally nothing change except for fiat money.

had requested tis b4, & final offer below for joint r&d, if lacklustre reply, then nvm its ok whistling.gif
basically dream idea is have a delayed 100 stock watchlist in usa thread, we act on the real time info instead cool2.gif then no need ask for tips or run here & there like headless chicken hmm.gif which is wat is being seen at times in thread

1) create watchlist of 70 stock price $10-$20 & update it every quarter after earnings
2) create watchlist of 30 stock price above $20 & update it every quarter after earnings
3) will supply a list, for 3 volunteers to review & insert/ delete stocks in watchlist at their own free time
4) the criteria is on earnings, fund ownership & valuation
5) entry or exit of stock price recommendation is base on chart, due to support, resistance & volume
6) timeframe is 3 months, if got progress & feedback, next criteria is on group sector & to compare its competitors
7) if no progress, gulung tikar lo... brows.gif all list info, is derived from free websites

notis some of u are in early stages of r&d in usa, if this dream idea can assist u, pls let me know
as a few of u seems interested to get something out from usa market & willing put in effort & time wink.gif
otherwise, its back to my swashbuckling ways bruce.gif

Lovely, that's the funniest thing I heard this week. LOL

As usual, all the ikan bilis player are late. I mean we have 2nd info, too little too late. Mostly the analyst have better network and news.

I remembered clearly on MGM case. TP is 9.80, and they cut the rating to NEUTRAL. Bla bla Casino no business econ down.

So, the next day dropped 20cts and I cut loss with minor losses (as my holding is 300-500shares only). Then in 2 trading days, MGM raising non-stop to nearing 13$

Also, the say (Analysts) that LVS business should be good due to out-side US market. TP 20-21$ and place BUY rating. LVS from that day downwards to $15-16 now. I place the opposite bet, ie short LVS when it was heading to $17. Rising quickly to near $19 in 2-3 trading days, and PHEW, saved by the mini-crash.

In short. ANALYSTs are CROOKS. They probably already SHORT/LONG before they announced the news.

Sorry, whose 2011 budget?

The earnings are modestly good so far. I don't see major problem but the shadows of uncertainty still lingering around with China and US bank rules. We're holding at the 100 day MA. I say we'll be flat or slightly down tonight.

But, it is still good time to scour around and see which stocks are beaten badly - perhaps get some here and there.

Good luck!
