how much would it cost to upgrade i7 720 QM to 820 QM by ourselves

Damn I'm short on cash to buy the 920xm. I will not switch my gpu yet. Goin to wait for the gt300 series.

Lucky for you that you're in the Americas. You can make use of the Alienware upgrade policy ya?

Anyways, you already have a powerfull proc for the CPU, Better just wait for the GTX300 base GPU and change that, then later when u want the new 920XM i7 icon_rolleyes.gif

Im not too familiar with desktop specs. But gaming wise, with ur SLI on the M17x, is it better at games overall than ur desktop i7 920XM with the GTX 295? hmm.gif

Core i7 920XM and a GTX295 is better than the M17x lol..

Maybe we should all buy desktops(Cheaper) and a netbook or 13-14" laptop haha

i need my m17x to perform. my desktops stays in canada while my m17x is my portable desktop. my m17x has some stuttering problem whn playing certain games. low fps thn high fps again. but ive mange to reduce it by disabling FAtray n aliensense.
