This new thread is getting cold. Where is everyone?

Just got back from PC Fair guys, but currently chilling with friends at Curve.

There is a fully equipped ALIENWARE Booth. Even with Cosplay people. Darth Maul, a Klingon, HellBoy and another lightsaber totting alien.

Alienware brought in the full range excluding the aurora series. There were 2 DESKTOPs which is the AREA 51 and the AREA 51 ALX. There were also around 10 M17x there for people to play with but only 1 M15x. Check the price discussion thread on the great deal you can only get in this pc-fair.
Also a small gaming league and a photography contest going on which earns you prizes.... It was a great display and I felt like a lil boy so excited there.

First thing you'll encounter are the 4 cosplay models set out to convince you to get a unit




Then it hits you. THE ALIENS HAVE LANDED IN MALAYSIA OFFICIALLY

These vents gives you the impression that the beast is breathing


Then we go onto the notebooks. They brought in around 10 units of the ALIENWARE M17x for display and for customers to play around with


But there was only 1 M15x there....

Thanks for the correction bro. I went inside the tent, but it was quite dark in there and I guess I must have missed the m15x....

You mean getting it seperately? I think it should be available when you call DELL SALES? I got mine together with the Notebook in a package.. Jutts out a bit at the bottom.

I couldn't agree more. Yesterday there were about 10 units sold as of 7pm most of them being the m15x.

I was thinking about the same thing of matching it all, but then I'd wish I had extra cash for a razer like a mamba...

IIRC The salesperson was the one who told me that it was something like 3x2...
But then again I only know of 2 slots as well.
The only thing I can think off is that its a 2gb + 4gb which should be the case and not the 2gb+2gb+2gb...

I don't know why DELL gave you a Targus that didn't fit the M15x? Damn, they don't think ar? Ape lah!!!!
They should make bags that fit these behemoths especially when they're selling them.
Anyways, notebooks and deskstop replacements are getting bigger now.
Yesterday I saw the ASUS W90 which was 18.4" wide screen. I wonder if they have the appropriate bag for it?????

Oh and Screemo, NICE RAZER bag.
Im still so new to this brand I feel I have been oblivious to all these...
When I saw the THX RAZER MAKO, I thought it was another brand like Sonic Gear but with a nice oval circular design.

So far I ask SALES and the Supervisor of the DELL Booth which is a lady, both said NO. But thats for the moment. Im hopefully for a future upgrade made possible for a GTX 280M

I was trying it with L4D II just now. Pity couldn't try it wirelessly cos the cable is permanently attached.


I'll do the same with my M15X. I hope the sales didn't bulk my order with the PC-Fair ones.... If I should be worried about delays due to lacking of parts...

Ah, the good old days of DELL. That wonderfull scenario happened with my DELL Inspiron years back which sparked a history of getting more DELL Products

Well, we can exercise our rights and give DELL A call to complain. They SHOULD Rectify this if it persists!
