My bad.comes with 4gb shdc card..hmmm lens filter is to protect from scratchess right?usually the tripod is not good one right?hmmm..

Oh. Yes, lens filter is to protect the front element of the lens from being scratched. Also, the tripod is still a tripod. Don't expect it to be really good, but it might come in handy when you wanna take a group photo or a long-shutter-speed shot. Free is good, Malaysian way of thinking, so just go for it if you can get it.

As far as I know Nikon does not provide any international warranty.

This I can't help you with as I haven't even seen a Pentax K-x before, I'm sorry, you'll have to take a look at it yourself.

No DSLR is all-weather capable. There are compact all-weather ones which Olympus does produce though.

cause now i check in garage sale, body + 1 lens + tripod,4gb is around RM2.8K.
so i want to know how much is that extra 1 lens? ( 4.2-2.8k ) around RM 1.4K?

Canon has a very strong background in digital camera lines already.

If budget isn't a problem and if i'm willing to wait...i would definitely go for Ixus 210 IS

hi guys, need recommendation. currently my budget is around 1k-2k. was planning to get 2nd hand DSLR. but money wise, im not sure as i wanted to try out photography. any1 can recommend any compact camera as i think my budget wont be getting any DSLR.

atm, im looking at sony TX1/7 and panasonic lumix DMC-FX65. my requirement is good picture quality among the price range of compact cameras.
