which af area mode do you guys usually use.
• Single point
• Dynamic area
• Auto-area
• 3D-tracking (11 points)

Auto area seems that the camera will focus the subjects if you place them under any of the 11 focus points. So does it allow you to focus more than one subject? What i heard is usually people tend to stick with single or dynamic area which would only focus on a particular subject and use the d-pad to tell the camera which focus point to be used

single area for me. dynamic for moving subjects lah of course. i prefer to select the focus point myself. no no, u cant focus more than one point..normally in auto-area the camera will just select the closest subject n focus on it. that's what i noticed with my D40 la atleast

D90 + 50mm shud be around 3.7k perhaps

18-105 kitlens and 50mm got pros n cons. 50mm is 'better' of course, but u're very limited with ur range. for example, for 50mm very hard to use in small rooms.

really? that's cheap. i juz based the prices according to yamiya... d90 body RM3192, 50mm RM419 = total RM3611, so juz round up around 3.7k tongue.gif or is it yamiya prices are expensive?

50mm on DX body will be 75mm. macam short tele already. meaning if u want to take picture of someone, u have to step back quite a bit. in small rooms u wont have space to step back
