Android's one way better. At least you have a wider variety of notification tones to choose from.
If there's one thing I hate bout the WA on iPhone, it's that the tones are too limited.

OTOH, i like iPhone version of Whatsapp, since it can be used to extend subscription of your number on Android phone. No need to pay annual fee on both smile.gif

Had to pay for mine on my iPhone but there was a brief time I remember when it was free. Still free on Android.

I wonder eventually if they will enforce a subscription?

when i was using blackberry, it was free for first year and subsequently got annual subscription.
but on the iphone it's a one time payment for downloading the app
not sure about android, but from what the other dudes say here, it sounds like its same like blackberry, got subscription one

i think whatsapp can use one number, if u want to continue with that number u have to pay, unless u change ur number. brows.gif

That's not really fair.
Think about it, if some one terminate their number, for example 012-11112222

Then after 2 months, the telco renew and sell that number off again as a prepaid card.
A person bought that prepaid and decided to upgrade to postpaid for data plan, and register WhatsApp again, then he wouldn't be able to login with his number again?

There we sees a loop hole in this system, it's a big big bug.

And that'll be a trouble for people who is selling of their VVIP number to other people.
What happen if the VVIP by the previous user had registered with whatsapp? The new owner of the number will meet the previous owner's friend. XD
