Yours is paid version or JB? Usually paid ones are usually just one-off. After paying, you don't need to pay again.

Mine is paid version.

But ist free in apps store last year.

Then today i want update its need to pay -.-

Mine crashed after i updated it to the latest version. haihz.. will try to reinstall it.

So far nth wrong with mine after update.. Got it free duing christmas last year.

Yes, too many problems with this new update. Btw..I got this advice from whatsapp's facebook. I tried it, and it works.

"Solution to Whatsapp's problem with new update. Open Whatsapp, close back then kill the app in the multitask background, repeat 5-6 times and Whatsapp will start to work again! Hope this helps!"

Yup this solutions is WORKED. Tested with 2 iPhone. Some need 10 times, some need more. So just repeat until it works.

i updated mine via phone yesterday, then it kept crashing. respring & reboot also still same.

so i rolled back to older version via iTunes.

anyone still face this issue ka? the kill app 10x really work? i killer like 4-5 times nia i think

Newbie here, and I am getting the same problem a few people are having after updating to the latest update where Whatsapp doesn't open anymore. It tries to open for a few seconds, and then just dies and returns back to the home screen.

I was trying the solution above but can't get it to work. It maybe me being stupid but what does it mean by "close back" in the solution above? Does it mean once you open Whatsapp, press the home button to come out of Whatsapp, or shall open Whatsapp and wait for it to close itself and then kill the app?

I think its mean you open the whatsapp app, then press home button as you out from that app. After that double click home button to kill the app. Just try 5-6 times. If still not working, try do it 10x.

My friend successfully done it, just like mine.
