A2 claimed and proof to have lower pH lvl compare to A1.
some tested the A2 initial will have as low as pH5...
please monitor the pH level before put in shrimp

I believe both are fine with CRS... Cherries indefinite.(surely can with any soil)

I just don't really like A2 because it breaks down way faster..

and do as what pinchy said, monitor the pH levels... we won't want them to feel a pH spike..

Any body know where to get Microsorum pteropus Philippine. (Philippine Java Fern). I saw one tied to a bogwood at EA selling for RM30, is it a reasonable price to pay?

@blinded-wa rm30? I saw them selling for rm35... They don't label their price tag correctly all the time...

@pinch- the fern don't have many leaves but is about maybe a foot high or shorter...most probably shorter...

@fongzai- I got mine for rm10. Can do 250tests.

Added on December 22, 2009, 3:56 pmooo forgot to update added one cyperus helferi into my tank, its not growing well in my large aro tank because damn crayfish keep uprooting it and cut the leaves... My crayfish shed 3 or 4 times oredy... jus wanna tell u guys...

And guys, I use desk lamp for my nano tank and the bulb says 5watts so I asked my dad for higher wattage light bulb but he said that is a 25W bulb using 5W amount of electricity.. He said its energy saving kind of bulb. Is that possible?

just bought a tester to test the ph.. my 1ft tank with amazonia 2.. lower as 6.0.. since this rm10 ph tester only can test 6.0 to 7.6.. i think still can go lower ?

lol jus had a wild idea... I think I will get a betta tank for an extreme nano planted tank...

Not sure how many leaves. Its a bunch tied on wood and not looking good with some yellowing leaves.

@Fongzai : Is it a spiral bulb? Energy saving is just that, energy saving. The actually wattage is the wattage to look for, not the incandescent equivalent. So an 18 watt CF bulb is 18w even though the box said it is equivalent to 100watt of incandescent bulb.

Correct me if I am wrong.

to me ?! im just using T4 - 8W woh... main tank is 4x8W.. so total 32watt... while the coming tank use T5 - 8W.. length slightly shorter than T4.. i was wondering are that " T5... with 1 feet long "
