BGA starting to appear on the soil edges.
Growth seems to accelerate a little bit after dosing proper NPK and trace elements.

I broke my glass diffuser This is the third one LOL.

Any body know where to get Microsorum pteropus Philippine. (Philippine Java Fern). I saw one tied to a bogwood at EA selling for RM30, is it a reasonable price to pay?

Not sure how many leaves. Its a bunch tied on wood and not looking good with some yellowing leaves.

@Fongzai : Is it a spiral bulb? Energy saving is just that, energy saving. The actually wattage is the wattage to look for, not the incandescent equivalent. So an 18 watt CF bulb is 18w even though the box said it is equivalent to 100watt of incandescent bulb.

Correct me if I am wrong.

See those floating hairgrass? I am giving them away. Its a mixture of japs. hairgrass and dwraf hairgrass. How to tell the difference? The japs hairgrass eats sushi. Yours, if you are willing to self collect at Greenwood, Gombak. Only keeping them until this coming sunday...Believe me...its a lot of hairgrass LOL

I bought the same cylinder at RM150.00 for 0.5L. @ 3bps only lasted me for 1.5 month. Maybe will last longer for smaller tank or mid-low light tank setup.

Its a 7 gallon. I was using HOB and 2 fans, so there was a lot of surface agitation thus co2 lost.

I used to have sand as substrate before and they get GSA and GDA on them after a while. After I put in a pair of panda cory the algae slow down a bit. They don't eat the algae but they do help to turn over some of the sand around.

Red algea? That's new .
Have any picture? Could it be diatoms?
