ADA soil la.. like UNKER DREW said, ADA act as softener... suitable for cherries... but make sure ur tank is properly cycled....

here is some tips on how to cycle ur ADA soil fast... vr vr frequent water change...

I like the looks of sand. Natural sand though... Pure aquarium sand very artificial, white like mad very easy spot dirt...

use black color sand dun scared dirty lo..

i used to have those black sand in my tank.. then i added gex onto it..then mix liao.. now add ADA about 4kg ontop of it..

Okay ben, you asked for the critic.

pH 7.6/7 is a TAD BIT HIGH , I believe the beach sand is to blame.

Most of our tanks are around pH6.8..

Most of your listed plants would melt away soon with no c02 and enough lighting and that kind of temperature.

If you do intend to improve, let us know. I'm sure some of us here are still willing to help.
