bro(s), what to do with the soil(ADA amazonia soil 2) if it is a new one.. do i need to wash it before dump into the tank.. or i can just throw into the tank directly without washing it?

You don't need wash it.
Just direct put into tank, decorate it with some plant and fill water.

anyone know what kind of algae is this?
white in color... looks like Kapas to me... it grow on most of my java moss and peacock moss... but not on Riccia or Spiky moss

idunno what kinda algae.. the best wAy is manually removing it lo wit toothbrush

already did hydrogen peroxide on my tank. the plants with bba just bubbled furiously.

the shrimps are still ok. and i am seeing alot of debris being lifted to the surface by the bubbles.

Hi all~~ I plan to keep cherry shrimp. But haven't buy it. I wanna try to buy medium size aquarium. Any recommand for me (in budget)? I plan to go to Kajang there punya Pet store that one of the members intro at this thread one. I forgot what name already.

I plan to buy some water plant and soil. any good water plant suit for beginner can intro me? My location at serdang. (if anyone of you can sell me some cherry shrimp in a cheap price then i will be very happy~)

1 feet tank - rm20
HOB filter - rm40
lights - rm30 - 50

if u wana go for plants then go for soil

ADA soil - rm38 - 3kg

plants can say cheap lah

cherry shrimps - rm1.20 - rm1.50 each

set up tank, pour in soil, plant ur plants, slowly add in water.. let the filter on for around 2weeks atleast.. then add your shrimps

welcome to the club tianyin ! aquarium tank depends yourself actually. if u go the glass shop is much cheaper than LFS. but also have to depends the quality like how many mm of thickness.

about soil and plants, we will always suggest u start with ADA soil and Mosses because u said that going to keep cherry shrimps.

but u have to make sure ur tank is matured enough before u introduce shrimpts.... otherwise u will see ur shrimps die 1 by 1.

inlet naturally covered in moss and riccia
