I support eheims all the way..

the difference between these MIC and eheim is the fact that you can get the eheim repaired easily if anything is to turn up.. I had a bad experience with a MIC jebo once... it failed and leaked, cannot find spare part some more.. I had to bin that. Got myself a 2236 after that lol.

Reliability is all i can say

Does those MIC canisters come with warranty ?

but moss abit brownng at the base.. a liiiitle brown in the middle but bright green tips..

not enuff fert? im VERY light on fert dosing :S

go for JBL Ferropol ! rm30 for 250ML ! it served my riccia and moss very well

got damn alot of fert.. but neve used much

How much & frequent you does your fert now ?

Maybe your moss turning brown is due to not enough lightning on that spot.

ok my dosage 60 liter 2 feet tank
- 55watt pll 8 - 10 hours photoperiod
- co2 @ 1bubble very 3 - 4 second (light co2 mist around me tank )
- temperature morning 20degrees midday about 23degrees
- PH i think the last time i check was 6.5 ? cant rmmber
- water crystal clear tastes delicious

plants i have id say
-50% spiky/java moss and pelia
-30% riccia
-10% java fern and u see la sword plants? cant rmmber names
-10% HC

every monday waterchange 30% + use amway filtered water + antichlorin - i add

1ml - seachem flourish nitrogen
1ml - seachem flourish pottasium
1ml - seachem flourish phosphorus
1ml - seachem flourish iron (once every 2 weeks)

wednesday - i add

1ml - seachem flourish pottasium

friday - i add

1ml - seachem flourish pottasium

next week repeat..
not enough light? my mosses all under light.. 55watt pll

which should i play with?

Which part of your moss is turning brown, those under shade or those exposed ? How many percent had it turns to brown ? If just a little bit only, i dun think it got any problem... IMHO

hmm the ones are starting to brown?

evryhere lah! the moss like in the middle at the stem browning.. but bright green tips and growing also... something like the stem browning but leaves bright green and nice lol

hmm... if like that ah, cause usually my brownish only happen when there's lot of moss is started to cover the old moss...

I dun think less fert will cause the moss turning brown la.. cause i still got keep my moss in another tank without fans without fert, still growing, no browing.... i still got 1 more small pile of moss convert as emerse, just do misting & sun bath also no brownish.

first month the moss super green lar.. oni last week starting brown... the brown parts are not covered at all.. its totally exposed!
the mosses used to be super thick and green, see below

now abit thinner and browning.. but stil each one of em ha bright green tips means its growing

im use the same water with u michanz.. amway filtered water.. but i dont use chlorine for it...
