Yo guys I found this on aero performance:

Coefficient of Drag (Cd)
Forte: 0.29
Civic 0.29
Corolla: 0.31
Mazda3: 0.32

Coefficient of Lift (CL)
Forte: 0.16
Civic 0.19
Corolla: 0.19
Mazda3: 0.18
*
Lift low is good...as it is give more stability when you travel at high speed....lift too high means you may need spoiler to stable down the car at high way.

For drag (means resistance), low is good, as it give you better fc at high speed also..

Just can not believe forte lift is better than civic. rclxms.gif

Lower numbers are better! As far as I know, lower drag means better fuel consumption. You're not fighting air as much as bad Cd cars.

Lower coefficient of lift probably means less body 'lifting' as speeds go up. Car's more stable.

QUOTE(bbear @ Dec 16 2009, 06:29 PM)
I have involve is many projects.. a good project management will have everything lay down and also dates to commit. I am not hoping they have a good process in their project management but at least they should know what is in the next order / shipment and what the factory can delivered to the order.

e.g. for my company, our products are built to order, on the day customer placed order, they will get the expected delivery date range even it is 2 months later. The planner will updates the marketing / sales on if the production's output can fullfill the delivery date and if not, they will have to nego with the customer on the new delivery date even months before the actual delivery.

Any late delivery will be log and reported to monthly / quarterly meeting where the whole team will have to be responsible for such late shipping.

I just don't get it what is so difficult for Naza to address the buyers on the date of availabilities.. it is ether they do not have any confirm order / shipment from the supplier or no one cares if order has been placed to the supplier or no one know how the logistic works to ship the goods from the supplier to Malaysia and how many has been ordered.

in other words, the supplier will just send them any number / combination and Naza will just go and figure out when they receive the actual shipment and do allocations from there.

All i can see is bad supply chains and bad management.

I was the guy that complaining about the groong groong empty tank sound  blush.gif .. and the SA tole me he talked to the manager where we can actually downgrade to 15" FOC with Rims.. but 16" has to pay. ( just verbal talks.. no black and white... gosh.. i got to start bring recorders when i talk to SA to protect my right )

how much you need to top up the different...for 16 in normal rim ? just no confident on 17 inch rim performance on Malaysia terrain....especially for kampung road

I didn't really get a clear info from them ( they do not have the clear info as well.. just saying we has that option .. and not sure how true is it until someone finally wanted to do that ). Will see how if that day does come.

even if doing the downgrades from 17 to 16, have to make sure they are not replacing with a lousy heavy rim.. or it is wasting effort.

I think the Koreans have been working really hard in the R&D side. They've got a lot of wind tunnels at Namyang R&D Centre in Korea. Go to www.kiamotors.com, click 'About Kia', then 'Global Organisation' then 'R&D Center'!

For Civic, I though the Drag is 0.31? I understand that only Honda Civic Hybrid has 0.27

U booked 1.6SX or 2.0SX? I booked mine on 7th Dec for 2.0SX... My SA said 2.0SX confirm can get Jan2010 and 1.6SX READY STOCK....
READY STOCK? wow, that means the car is waiting for buyer and ready to be driven away anytime????
*
so.. still confirmed can get 2.0SX by Jan 2010??
my SA said he got no news at all.. he requested 2.0 to be test drive car but end up rejected by Naza due to no stock availability wo..

QUOTE(bbear @ Dec 16 2009, 03:01 PM)
If only they have something more useful on the updates in the FB.. e.g. a finite weeks or dates on when the 2.0SX can be available rather than kept saying 90-120 days ( is that including early booked customers ? or only new customers ? early booked customer waiting time = 90-120 days + prebook ~ launching days ? )
*
i very early already booked 2.0... mid of november.

FL,

What I meant is the unit there was one of the car that were seen / used during the media test activities back in Nov.  tongue.gif

Due to the uncertainty of the 2.0SX.. CFO is suggesting to make a decision between the Forte vs 407 before end of this month as 407's promo only valid if car is delivered in Dec... headache sweat.gif
*
go for 407.. is good car if u can afford it...
and u don't need to wait blindly too....
but bear in mind 408 is coming out soon that's why is so cheap now.

NOTE: those who booked the King Long Embelm, please PM me your phone no. as stock already arrived!!
Julz u can come to my office tomorrow~ wink.gif
