I have involve is many projects.. a good project management will have everything lay down and also dates to commit. I am not hoping they have a good process in their project management but at least they should know what is in the next order / shipment and what the factory can delivered to the order.
e.g. for my company, our products are built to order, on the day customer placed order, they will get the expected delivery date range even it is 2 months later. The planner will updates the marketing / sales on if the production's output can fullfill the delivery date and if not, they will have to nego with the customer on the new delivery date even months before the actual delivery.
Any late delivery will be log and reported to monthly / quarterly meeting where the whole team will have to be responsible for such late shipping.
I just don't get it what is so difficult for Naza to address the buyers on the date of availabilities.. it is ether they do not have any confirm order / shipment from the supplier or no one cares if order has been placed to the supplier or no one know how the logistic works to ship the goods from the supplier to Malaysia and how many has been ordered.
in other words, the supplier will just send them any number / combination and Naza will just go and figure out when they receive the actual shipment and do allocations from there.
All i can see is bad supply chains and bad management.
