Just curious will your speed increase if you upgrade to 2MB? As I can see on 1MB we are running less than what we're suppose to be, so i believe it's TM hardware limitations, so even upgrading to 2MB it's still best effort, doesn't mean speed will go up, just the potential speed.

oh... i just use the self card link from this thread first page, upgraded from 512k to 1mb, now only i realize that i see the price is RM77 not RM71???

upgrade from 384 to 1Mbps., download speed increase from 48KB/s to 120KB/s, sometime up to 170KB/s, sometimes up to 250KB/s. But during 6pm to 12am, the speed is super slow, download speed only around 18KB/s, very weird. So after working go back, wanna suftnet, very slow. stop all download still slow. Sad., what kind of this service. Anyone got same issue?

Before you upgrade to 2M or 4M, you can check your Modem Status as your modem can detect the maximum upload & download speed the current line or port are supported.


"Combo Package" means Phone Line + Streamyx
Actually the price already included your phone line rental which is RM25. Just look at your Phone Line Bill, you will notice that your Phone Line Rental are reduced from RM26 to RM1 "Itemised Bill".

"Standard Package" means Streamyx Only.
Your Phone Line Bill will have Phone Line Rental RM26 charged.

Many doesn't reliase that they actually SAVE for combo package. The package actually reduced your Phone Line Bill & Streamyx Bill.

I am currently using streamyx standard package 1mbps,I wish to upgrade to 4mbps.
Can anyone tell me how long will this process take?
will their techician come to my house to upgrade or they upgrade without coming to my house?
do I need to pay for installation fee?

I have check about the coverage area of 2mbps and 4mbps,it says we must be within 3km from TM exchange.

what is TM exchange?

I suggest you call 100 and ask them whether 4Mb is available in your area. They should be able to give you more info about your enquiry.
