i jt got to knw that, after u have signed up at digi smart plan u need to wait for 24 hrs to activate ur voice call & sms, been told that i only register this morning, but i went to register at SACC yesterday ... did plenty times of battery pull, sent the host routing table for "n" time still didnt work it out ... and finally they told me need to wait for another 24 hrs ... sound so ridiculous, isnt it cheating?
huh??? Digi ... dont let me down ... this is some sort of cheating d ... i'll wait for another 24 hrs, and see what can u say after that if i still didnt get my bb work ...

There is no BB department in CS smile.gif

It should be activated within 24 hours unless the person who signed you up screwed somewhere

What do you think of this plan in terms of value for money? Do you really save more with the smart plan?

Any BB OS will do. Some OS may be buggy but it will not affect the core function which is connecting to BIS & retrieving emails smile.gif

Erm, definitely. Any other cheaper plans in the market compared to Smart Plan? Or you can take up prepaid plan & subscribe for BIS

when i took my BB with smart plan, it took only 2-3 hours before my line activated. not sure why you have to wait that long. Well, i took BB together with the plan, not sure such signup have priority biggrin.gif

Hmm...let's say I'm in sales and I make lots of phone calls everyday? Is this plan still recommendable? Or is switching to a postpaid more value for money? But then again, do their postpaid plans have BIS? Curious...

smart plan 68 is for data plan. what insteresting is there's no monthly commitment for voice plan. you are paying for what you are using for voice.

15 sen / minutes for voice
10 sen for sms

i think it's worth. you pay for what u use smile.gif

I went to MidValley Digi Specialized Store today to ask about BlackBerry SmartPlan
and he told me they don't have it there ,they only have it in the CENTRE.
So fine...

I went all the way to Times Square Digi Centre despite the jam +time +petrol[1hour] and
waited for one hour+ until my turn to for enquiry.
When I decided to get the blackberry phone + the SmartPlan,
the person in charged tells me they have NO STOCK in their centre.
So I ask them to check the Pavilion store whether do they have it
and to my surprise,They don't have STOCK too. mad.gif

1stly,I am really very disappointed on their services and all.
2nd ) How can they only have three CENTRES in the big city? -TimesSquare,Pavilion,SohoKL.
3rd ) and none of the centres have the phone.

They should put a Notice there to keep the customers up On date
whether they have the phone or not.
If they don't have it,they can just put TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK!
instead of put the customers on hold and later on say NO STOCK.

I seated there for an hour and I noticed they really loss
a lots of customers in that one of hour because of their service.
But what makes me sad is that I wasted few hours and to find out
they have no BlackBerry phone in store.
I can't get my blackberry still . cry.gif

Digi memang useless de one la..

this is why ppl keep going back to maxis although they're more expensive..
they treat you like god in their centre...

customer first..
digi better buck up...

dont think just because you can give lowest prices.. ppl will still come to you...
some more the fella had the audacity to tell me to try again next week..

i wanted to take his laptop and smash it into his face..
next week?

come here seat 1 hr ++ and wait again and try? go to hell man!

worst come to worst i opt for maxis only

with the RM500 upfront price almost same as maxis..

oh ya about the RM500 upfront thing..

really smart (or sneaky) gimmick..
they DIDNT WRITE anywhere about RM500 UPFRONT payment for advancement..

a) if customer walk in budgeted nice nice RM 1299+RM68 then how?

RM500 upfront is a little too much imo...
and with no notice whatsoever...
they should AT LEAST put it in fine print..

i wonder if this can be used to complained at Consumers Rights?
no accurate info.. deceiving the public

@aiyoyoann: in digi smartplan website they list down the outlets where you can buy the phone and register for the plan. i went to the one in sg wang, and after waiting about 30 minutes or so for them to register my digi number for the plan (they seemed a bit confused on how to do it), i got my phone and left. not even 30 minutes later i was surfing and fb-ing using my new blackberry. but then again maybe i'm just lucky.

please take all telcos promos with a spoonful of salt. ask around, and just pick up the phone and call the customer service hotline. from my experience digi's CS seems to be more knowledgeable about the company's offerings and promotions compared to other telcos. when maxis first came out with BB8520 prepaid plan, both my friends and me called the helpline and both got different answers. talk about confusing.
