5.5j max can go only 195... also bear in mind that cornering improves a lot but the pickup sucks even more... that's for 195 (mine's 195)... 205 lagi teruk...

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to looking for a new car recently and i found out there got lot's of car around can buy with budget max 90K.

The car that under my consideration is toyota vios G spec, honda city E specs, kia forte, hyundai avante, nissan sentra, and mazda 2(going to launch soon).

However, no matter how i think, my heart still go for honda city, not sure why and even there got lot's of negative rumours about this car is not FC, lot's of problem after buy it. Can i know according to all the bro over here, is it truth that the quality of this car is that bad?

I'm confuse and really scare to bought a problem car.

Furthermore, if i decide to buy honda city, any nice SA around klang valley can recommend to me because i do not know any.

Thank you.

in the first place the 185/55/R16 damn hard to find replacement.

Old City V-Tec CVT > NHC "5" gears...

There was a saying last time, once u drive a car with CVT, u won't get used to another car with normal auto gear jerking changes.. CVT very smooth and power delivery very nice tongue.gif

Once I got my City, drive back Myvi, feel not comfortable and not used to it..

If can get new car, will get Nissan Slyphy or Mitsu Lancer for the CVT smile.gif

i agree with the first sentence. the one where you won't get used to the conventional gearbox

I like CVT. i like the smoothness and the way you can rev it. but, and this is a very big but, nothing beats the pull of a conventional gearbox. cause when u change gears, you drop back into the torque band and you feel the surge. IMHO CVT is not so good for spirited driving la

That's where the 7 speed comes in.. Put to "S" mode and manually downshift the gears to 6.5K RPM and u feel the acceleration boost.. The feeling of "push back to seat" feeling or "open v-tec" smile.gif

go for Honda Branch at Jalan 222. Whatever you decide, don't go to Honda Global Amity Serdang. Bad services and liar.
*
Thanks for your information. Yea, I have read through the whole city forum and lot's of people recommend to jalan 222 in PJ too. Do you know any nice SA that i can refer to? Because my concern is how much discount that can get from the SA. Freebies and voucher will not useful for me as normally I will go for outside to tinted myself.

the NHC dont have auto look at all! my old car has this features i want

-when the engine running and all 4 door is closed, when i press the break all 4 doors will automatically locked.
-when i turn off the engine all my 4 doors will automatically unlocked
-when a passenger open the door and close back the door, when i press the break it will automatically locked all the doors again

now is there a place otuside i can install this feature without voiding the alarm? i find it this is very safe when driving and convenient rather than manual lock and open which sometimes a driver forgets

ask your SC to install it for you
estimated cost around RM200.
drive above 20km/h it'll auto lock.

result should be something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30VVSQ-EBVU&feature=related

booked last friday, SA called on Monday, car is ready. =.="

discount he gave:
RM300++
RM600 worth tinting if customer go themselves (SA can get RM400)

He told me each city he earns for commission is RM950. I request a specific car number but he couldn't give, he said the number 9xxx needs RM350.

how u think?
