U r from Singapore or Malaysia??

I already said my tyre is RM 275 per piece.. I am driving 4.5G City.. Original is 185/55/15.. I assume u are driving the new City?? Original is 185/55/16 or 175/65/15 then...

205/40/17 gives better reading as it is within the 3% rule.. 205/45/17 is more than 5%..

Anyway I read from fellow members that changing to 17" no pick up and very high FC for 5G... 120 - 140 km for half tank.. That person using 205/45/17 and regretted...

For my 4.5G it is ok, cause the V-Tec open earlier... If go uphill, 6.5 k RPM.. Haha... Full tank still can go 300 km+..

My rims is Lenso Samurai SC 06.. Very light, 7 kg only..

I bought it at Klang, friend's shop. RM 1,500 for 17" rims... RM 275 per tyre x 4 = RM 1,100... Total RM 2,600 lor.. Hehe

Mine is Hyper Black.. Got silver and other colours as well..

I think 215 is way too big for City as it is a 1500cc small car. Change from 185 to 195 will definitely get better corner handling than the stock. 15" inches sports RIM is always having a better choice to switch to larger tyres compare to 14" inches one.

Mine is neither E or S.. Mine is 4.5G...

I don't think City can use 215 unless u knock the tyres there... Max is 205.. Of course change wider tyres will affect pickup.. But cornering definately will be better and more stable..

If u wan 16", get 205/45/16..

I think that is a bit overkilling on small cc cars.

Mine is also 2008 car, the facelift of the 4G... In built antenna and in built CD player, honey comb grille, water repellent seats etc...

I don't think our City can use 195 for 16".. Use 205 better lah... More sizes available.. 205/45/16 many brands..

45 is considered low-profile tyres so might be bumpy for some people... For me, I am using 40 quite bumpy... Our City suspension quite stiff so quite bumpy.. Different people got different tolerance for bumpiness.. Will be quite noisy also if use 40 or 45 series..

Pickup of course slower a bit compared to 185 or 195... But will be very stable... Corner can take 120 km/h, more confidence... Hehe

Was cruising around NPE just now and spotted a Mini Cooper S if I'm not mistaken. Mini Cooper is a 1.3 turbo right? How come HC can't beat it in terms of acceleration and top speed? Any enlightenment, please? Details.

Both Honda City only managed to reach a top speed of 150kmph due to the traffic.

my 1st full tank took me 400km++ only. going to fill up 2nd tank full and lets see how far this baby can take me. not yet even done my 1st service

say....will my original E spec rims fit with tyres thats 205/55/16? was thinking to change wider tyres when the next tyre change take place

Old City V-Tec CVT > NHC "5" gears...

There was a saying last time, once u drive a car with CVT, u won't get used to another car with normal auto gear jerking changes.. CVT very smooth and power delivery very nice

Once I got my City, drive back Myvi, feel not comfortable and not used to it..

If can get new car, will get Nissan Slyphy or Mitsu Lancer for the CVT

Do your guys feel that NHC's engine sound is loud and vibrate a lot? (compare to 1st gen City)

You can hear it when you stand 1 meter away the car...you will feel the vibration while you stuck in jam...

i'm currently using Philips x-treme power. and my bro's car using Osram night breaker .
Philips x-treme power is way better then Osram night breaker in terms of brightness, colour and bulbs life time. and of coz the price too about rm30 more.

using H4 buy from uk online website rm126, philips x-treme power not white light so jpj no prob. but the driver in front of u might get insulted coz a little too bright to them.
