QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 11 2009, 08:59 AM) Oh.. too rich doesn't mean related to fuel system geh. Hehe.. Since already deleted, re-check it when you service your car at sc. =) My family car all using potenza adrenalin. That tyre is awesome. But i cann afford it for myself. Wonder how much does waja cps rim worth during trade in. I got RM850 for rims and tyres, but I notice the trade in orice at Klang is really low since the price of their new rims and tyres are cheap. Some shop 'play' around with the new rims price to give better trade in value. Anyway, there's someone at the Waja thread looking for CPS rims. Maybe can get better price. Added on December 11, 2009, 11:06 amQUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 11 2009, 07:46 AM) Only at Klang. This post has been edited by sphiroth: Dec 11 2009, 11:06 AM

QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 11 2009, 12:52 PM) Better i use it.. That rim nice also ma.. haha.. Only not big enough. Oh... Then you can sent to sc for checking if you wan. So low value rim better keep it. =P RM850 for you sell waja cps rim or you bought new rim and tyre for only Rm850? Trade in the standard rim and tyres for 850, then top up RM 1.1k for new 16: rims and yoko adrive R1. QUOTE(eastwest @ Dec 11 2009, 02:14 PM) My car driver side power window just dropped Lucky the glass did not break... But I heard something fell, the sound coming from the door. Question: Should I sent my car to proton SC OR sent to normal mech shop only to fix this problem? Becoz selangor is public holiday, SC is closed. and my car is still in warranty( 1year 7 month). Thanks. If got time, go to SC tomorrow. Else, just pay any workshop to do it.

QUOTE(eastwest @ Dec 11 2009, 02:44 PM) Today is holiday, so I don't think I need to use the car(still have other car if need to go out). Now park my car under porch, looks like it's gonna rain. My car also already need to service + change brake pad(got screeching sound when braking). If go to normal workshop, usually how much does it cost to fix it? If minor things like this, usually FOC at my usual place. But I will buy something from them (usually spend around RM30) to compensate for their time.

QUOTE(VerM @ Dec 12 2009, 02:03 PM) Can anyone here give some educated explanation the difference between each piggy back system, its features, its usability in terms of advantages and disadvantages, pricing and installation and recommendation by personal experience? What really to expect from these piggy backs and do we have to re-tune it everytime we do some upgrades i.e having hot bits exhaust change to matola? Does each comes with an interface for us to play with the setting or we need to plug in our laptop (or pda) to tune it? 1. GReddy e-manage blue 2. Dastek Unichip 3. Perfect Power SMT8 4. Apexi SAFC 5. Apexi AFC Neo I thank you for the information shared. The simpler the device, the cheaper it is, easier to tune, cheaper to tune, but less thing can be tune. And it also works the other way around. For me, I just choose the cheapest one since my mod is just intake and exhaust.

QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 12 2009, 08:33 PM) Hey.. I check it for you already. This fault code after you remove it then it had no harm. Although no remove, also no harm. This fault code is normal for drive by wire vehicle in problem especially manual transmission. It mean the pedal something like can't communicate with the tps for a moment. This happen when you step the acceleration pedal full throttle or too much when normal driving condition. It also have the fault code 'too low' when you keep accelerate then let go. For cps engine, it have a feature which is very good (for save fuel purpose. the ecu will calculate our driving condition and control injector to shot amount of fuel which enough for the confition.). During normal driving condition, you just need to step the acceleration a bit. if we step too much during normal driving, that fault code might come out. If wanna overtake or pick up, you sudden accelerate then the power will come. I wonder how many manual tranny cps owner here realize during we wanna overtake or sudden accelerate, our car jerk (like dropping gear in auto car) then the power come very fast? That time only the ecu sent signal to the injector to spray more fuel. During that time injector spray more fuel + cps work + short VIM activated then it gave more power. hopefully you guy know what i mean. forgive me if my English explanation is so bad. add me in too.. singchaii - Hyrax E-one 10w-40, semi syn Not quite notice it, usually just drop to 3rd gear and rev straight to redline. Anyway, after intsalling SAFC, the check engine light turn on (after I fiddle with the setting) and when the tuner check it the carman scanner, it say MAP signal is HIGH (something like that) and manage to solve it. What happen?

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 12 2009, 08:47 PM) I'm wondering what u did to SAFC hehehe........ I adjust the THR point to 50. QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 12 2009, 08:52 PM) Map signal is high maybe your map sensor is dirty. Another reason it, it might too lean in your engine. Air more than the fuel. Map sensor is to know how many pressure in the intake manifold. So, my safc THR setting is leaner than standard. QUOTE(rapidbumi @ Dec 12 2009, 11:21 PM) Can. BTW, if not mistaken, u r the 1st.

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Dec 13 2009, 09:26 PM) The THR setting is to activate low thr or high thr map, hmm I wonder how it can give error code. Thats why I think the setting for THR is leaner. When I set it to be used at lower point, it makes it too lean and the ECU interprets it as error. Added on December 13, 2009, 11:04 pmBut, I also play around with the other setting, can't remember which. QUOTE(singchaii @ Dec 13 2009, 08:42 PM) my fc only 8.3km/l. QUOTE(penpal_my @ Dec 14 2009, 08:04 AM) just to share experience with waja cps..i dont know because i dont have any experience with waja. when i drive around 80-90km/h, i can hear wind noise...maybe it come from right/left front door (not sure). with auto trans, i can hear the engine sound very rough. How about your waja cps? do you feel like this?can SC fix this issues? An auto journalist said that the last gen of waja has improved NVH. so that mean the old gen waja had more worst NVH? While servicing my car last week, I saw SC personnel removing the window visor on a Persona and re-attach it back. I ask why and they said the visor is not properly placed causing wind noise. So maybe your problem is also cause by the same thing.

QUOTE(attention @ Dec 15 2009, 09:48 PM) claim chamber bolt? original there is a bolt or not actually? No camber bolt. But since its already like that when the is delivered to you, why not ask SC to fix it. Added on December 15, 2009, 10:20 pmQUOTE(Zaypher @ Dec 15 2009, 10:10 PM) hey guy to all CPS members. i wish to find out something. How different is the Campro CPS compared to the normal campro? It seems that from the brochure, the neo cps is quicker by a mere fraction. IMO, CPS only fix the campro low end power (low rpm) and added a little top end power. Since 0-100km/h sprint are done at high rpm, not much difference would be notice. But drivability would be significantly improved. This post has been edited by sphiroth: Dec 15 2009, 10:20 PM
