Went from 1k service today.. Puchong Jaya Service centre.. Appoinment is 10.30.. I tunggu tunggu sampu 1.30.. The car still park outside.I duduk kat sana macam ikan masin.. WTF is wrong with PROTON!!Somemore tell me oh hari ini banyak kereta ma. My whole morning habis. Then i tell them Tak payahlah, bagi kunci balik. I went to old klang road SC, finish in 45 minutes.Change engine oil 10-40w, oil filter, MT fluid + labour. Why need to plus labour?Because STUPID people in PUCHONG JAYA SC never give me back my coupon. So whole day gone just to bring my baby CPS for service. If not for the warranty, i can finish all this noncense in 20 minutes.

Anybody has fire extinguisher inside ur car? I plan to get one but dunno where to place it inside the car.

fire extinguisher i htink got a small one.. can place beside the driver seat. got enough space gua...

How about the new primax 97?i read in the newspaper the test drive result is better than the previous one.one more things,need your all help..my car fuel indicator will start light on when the fuel gauge a bit lower from quarter of the tank.is that normal??

Added on February 5, 2010, 9:17 amOne more things that i realize the SC will take advantages charge a few more thing such as X1R and flush engine.when receive the service sheet checklist check the things which is important to be done 1st..those things (X1R & flush engine) no need la considering we already use a good engine oil (semi-syn) right?usually there will be price at the service sheet checklist,so check the price before confirm to make service which one you agree to do.then you will be happy to pay without anger with the price that you didn't noticeable behind it.juz want to share my experience lor..

bro..ask the counter lady..she can gv u some discount..i always nego the labour...as we cannot nego the sparepart price..if u come sit2 quietly surely no discount..

been there thrice before.... 1st time wait like an idiot with no one updating me with anything.... 2nd and 3rd time, went to IOI Mall to watch movie (lepak at Starbucks eyeing for nice looking chicks) and ask the SC to call me when there are done.

But now, service outside since mileage already over 60k. I'm planning to buy some tools in no so distant future, so that i can change simple things at home...

My advice is don't simply quick to blame PROTON, other maker's SC is also the same...

I'd like to give one simple analogy to the SC scenario..... it's like going to government clinics... no matter how early your appointment is, it will still end up late if many people came... that is why some prefer to go to private clinics... it is the matter of choice...

so my friend, the only way to curb your frustation is to press the pedal to the metal.... and rev to red line...

Maybe because of the free voucher? They put kau2 labor so that no need to refund u back? I saw 100k km service, or my eye make mistake..

i've done 2nd service last week~
guess what?

they found there is oil leak from the engine bay...
slightly more than have tank oil only left in the oil sump.
i was shock since my car is only 'bout 3 month old
somewhere had started leaked... $%#@!

the sc found that the cam sensor is loosen and then they tighten it back and ... done!

i drive back to hometown after that and started to observe the engine bay for anymore leakage. finally, i spotted some drops of oil in the car porch. Obviously, oil still leaking. I just drive to the nearest PESB SC for inspection and asked for repair. They then inspected the car and found that ... oil leaked from the drive shaft oil seal... but they cannot do it because of $&@#*^$& (nonsense)... i asked them to close shop after some argue...

thereafter, i drove to other sc which is own by EON... they said it because of a alllen bush which is not tighten up and it is a known issue and common among campro engines. NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DRIVE SHAFT... they took 6~7 hours to fix it. speechless...

anyone from here encounter the same leaking issue or not? I'll keep observing the engine bay everyday, i've loose my confidence to burn fuel in my cps addy... sob sob~

The 'screw' used to let out the engine oil, is it the cam sensor?

Really Malang whole week. Today evening gf leaving to UK. Yesterday kena by SC waited so long. Today worst... Get letter from uni saying that i havnt pay the fees, now i am defering my semester to next semester.. I already started 5 weeks n 2 more weeks finish sem. now only ask me defer.. screw that idiot college...After that fetch my mum using my cps.. rev untill whole sunway can hear...

that one is drain plug i supposed

cam sensor is the one mounted near the cam shaft
the actual function of the sensor is unknown... told by the technician/mechanic

What engine oil you changed? How much?

Agreed, made appointment 8:15AM, waited until 11:30AM only saw they drive in my car for inspection...

dun like tht la.....u also sepang track driven guy wat....hahhaha...1.6 blm is quite powerful u know..u b surprise it still can drag along with cps..
