When i first use Screamyx late 2007, there's no problem about Youtube throttle speed. smile.gif Just high latency & ping sometimes. Yet, nowadays... it's so limited to "late night & weekends only". Does that means people have to use Youtube in late hours to get regular speed? sweat.gif

Slow Ping (avg 250ms) and High Packet Losses (avg 20% loss) to www.tm.net.my on Streamyx 1Mbps package in Paya Terubong, Penang. Complained since October 2009 and yet no improvements shown. This usually happens during night time from 6pm - 1am. But these few days, it's almost from noon to 1am sad.gif

Complained first to Streamyx Customer Service in October 2009. No improvements, and filed a complaint at http://aduan.skmm.gov.my/ in December 2009. Then got news from the Rapid Response Team. TM technician came to my house and admitted they knew about the Network Congestion at the KOMTAR port and he promised me that everything will be OK by January 2010. Now, CNY is going to be over soon and yet it is getting worst! I lodged another complaint at SKMM yesterday. Hope for the best sad.gif

Refering to my screenshot below, it is onli at 1.35am that my ping time is getting better. sad.gif And I was pinging www.tm.net.my!

If the network routed to Penang server, then all Penang residents will have congestion...

I have many of this email, look like just a template for them.

actually what i can say is, they know the problem, but just whether they want to fix or not.

U, Me Others all giving them the trace route result, is already very clear that show out the problem.

Yeah agree, I don't have much hope for them to resolve it so next stop will be to file a complaint with SKMM. Better to do something than just hope and wish for the best, I reckon!

dude, you have to complain it to SKMM early, as you can see some of them already report to SKMM but still no reply yet.

as myself already complain to CFM, TM is too much, they just can ignore your case and keep dragging or delay your case.

Speaking about closing the case, the reason why I lodged a 2nd complaint at SKMM is because TM customer support asked me to close the case. The problem persisted, how could I close? I told them to call again the next day and let me monitor my connection for 1 more day, and that's when the network became even more congested. They didn't call since then.
