Now that you mention it, it does look a little like a baby gorilla!

It really looks like gorilla, especially on RX-78.

But I think Hyakushiki somehow looks nice.
Flag looks nice too, but may be is all black, so can't see the detail of it.
And the ratio for GM cannon and Guntank still ok.

Saw that 2nd batch is even better.
Got Unicorn, ReZel and so on.....

ahahha gorilaz, but it looks good tho.

For now, the upgraded version are only up to Sun Quan.
Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Cao Cao and Sun Quan are out.
No news on the rest yet, but for sure, soon you will.
Bandai wont miss this chance to milk money from us this way.....

not a big fan of these new sangokuden ;[ its too obvious they don't have any new ideas and just need an excuse to milk more money out of collectors and builders

True, obvious that they dont have any new ideas.
But it is good for those that who hasnt bought the old one.

The koto kits are costlier but much better than normal bandai ones. The first patlabor came with a decaled shield and shiny chest badge. Too bad unlike hoi hoi San it does not come with extra watersides. As such cannot do recolours. They still beat sango rehashes any day!

I'd like it better if they make more SDs from Gundam 00 or Gundam Unicorn series rather than just focusing on Sangokuden.

Well, at least SD 00Q is coming out soon and it looks pretty decent.
Wonder, what the condensers for 00 which comes bundled with SD 00Q are for though? Maybe 00 Condenser plays a big roll in the movie.

Oh, and Shin Gelgoog's box art looks real badass, even though the contents are the same.

The best sd series in recent times would be the seed ones. Superior aeticulation compared to sango and much better than the dumbed down 00 sds. Better looking too
although the newer releases do a better job of hiding the seamlines.

Still, go get a koto sd kit and you'll realise how far bandai has fallen behind!

At the end of season 2, 00 Raiser's twin drives were destroyed (1 on O Gundam, 1 on Exia R2), so it had to run on two GN particle storage tanks in the upcoming movie.

With that kinda price, i'd certainly expect better quality and/or details. I still wish it comes pre-painted though.

Lol, Giant Ryubei is a pretty good "SD" isn't it?

Agree with Parody, although koto kits are nicer but they charge us too high price...

i heard that koto kits are costlier because they release fewer units - same costs to make moulds but smaller production runs
