you cant cache your shsh on saurik's server at the moment
due to the extreme traffic currently hogging them.

Use autoshsh grabber by ih8sn0w if u are a windows user if u are a mac user use firmware umbrella
google is ur best friend
these can let u save ur shsh in ur computer locally

I don't really get the SHSH usage. I'm on the new bootroom, so does that mean it's unnecessary to backup?

can i restore it back with the old 3.1.2 then jb with spirit...scared to update 3.1.3 then problem occur....how?

just restore to 3.1.3 then run spirit

crap, i dono wat happend, but all the pictures in my camera roll is gone, i jailbreaked with spirit in a rush, n then went out, i noticed when i took a picture, n my entire camera roll is empty. i did sync before running spirit, syncing again didnt bring it back, any idea what happened?

I facing the same problem ,too!

There is already a warning saying that it will wipe out the photo if you perform JB via Spirit.

i've just help my friend jb his 3gs new bootrom and everything is just fine n smooth....only one thing, the photo all gone also..

so now if I want to restore to 3.1.3, should I backup the ECID SHSH straight after restore?
Reason of restore is that I would like to have untethered JB since I'm currently running on the Blackra1n tethered JB on 3.1.2.

You can only backup 3.1.3 now, no longer 3.1.2 dude. Just restore to 3.1.3 and jailbreak it.

hello, i'm using 3gs 3.1.3 and follow all the step guide for JB using spirit, and works fine but when i'm using i-funbox it said that my phone still jailed and also trying to open root via DiskAid it also said i need to have jailbroken device to view the root partition. did any1 got the same prob?

Let me get this right,

Step 1: Restore my iPhone to 3.1.3 firmware (currently on JB 3.1.2)
Step 2: JB using Spirit
Step 3: Backup ECID SHSH to Saurik server (via Umbrella)
Step 4: Sync iPhone with iTunes to restore the apps

Is that right? Am I missing anything?
