I think Waze is the best these days. What's good about it is the traffic feature where it will route you to roads which is fastest, least amount of traffic.

I was just asking if there is google voice navigation for Malaysia for IOS (US Apps Store, Cydia and whatnot) like in Android phone (yes been using it for a year to navigate in Malaysia with Google Map without even to root the phone).

No please dont tell me to lodge report to apple or sell my iphone 5 or buy android phone if you dont know or dont have answer for that question. Changing Itunes store from MY to USĀ  and vice versa is simply toggle the country button in itunes. So no big deal.

Another smarties reply without reading my post properly. How many times i want to post that Google map voice navigation works in malaysia and ive been using it. The tweak available all over the net. Simpler than to jailbreak your iphone coz this one you dont even have to root your android phone.

So the reason why i chose google map for android phone last time becoz it worked with Google Voice just like Siri with Apple map.

Now since Google Voice is enabled in JB'ed Iphone, it will be nice if any tweaker in Cydia to apply the similar tweak to Google maps so we can use Google Voice to turn by turn voice navigation in Malaysia.

Zaid Erkurdi in Cydia has tweaked few Siri default services like play music from grooveshark instead of itunes, search local concertĀ  and event in malaysia for example. It will be good if he could tweak siri to find location and voice navigate using waze instead of Apple map. So everyone will be happy.

Cool bro. No need to sound so hostile there.

The thing is, even Turn-by-turn can't be used here.

tbh, previously I've even tried to find tweak to enable Gmaps TBT locally, but then there's none. So the answer is no. Comparison with GVoice as for now can be seem rather a stretch since it has been in the AppStore for a very long time.

And I'd like to add, you can actually use Siri on Google Maps, even without JB (albeit the method is not really elegant), but still it's exclusive to the supported country for Nav in the first place.

Ok, maybe you see my lines up there to be unproductive to you, but then so does yours.

Have a nice day.

Waze is a navigation app. Is not meant for map viewing. Map viewing go to Google maps or apple maps

The map displays the vicinity where u are located, around a good 200 km radius. But it's rather cumbersome to zoom out and zoom into another location where u not situated, unless it's nearby. Korea is definitely not nearby. That is the so called limitation of waze. If u are in korea of course no problem to view korea maps.

This morning I was using waze for about 1.5 hours. Waze was on when I was running errands. The usage for this morning was 1.16 MB exactly. Now if i do this everyday for one month I only use 35 MB. That is a very small fraction of 1GB quota given by celcom. Why are we so worried about waze's data usage?

I still go for Waze. The features is fun, feel like gaming while driving. Spent alot on phone so no budget allocate for navi apps. Even I use JB, but I dont use cr@cked apps. So yeah, Waze is my best free navi so far..

Agreed, I tried using Waze from KL to Melaka, about 2 hours drive. Only about 6 MB of data (including other applications running in the background). Very minimal lar, no worries actually

Can't remember, but quite substantial. If I remember correctly, it's more than 60% gone! BTW mine was old iPhone 3GS
