Feel want to buy garmin but no updates for map since release and not optimized for iPhone 5 hold me back. Any reviewer using garmin ? A bargain at only 19.99 though. Desc written 4 times update per year seems a empty promise from them.

I use Waze. I like the fact that i can also choose from 4sq's location apart from Waze's very own database and Google's.

Are you kidding me? The best is Waze. Completely free, tells you about traffic and police roadblocks (user submitted), and the GPS is spot on. Really good interface too.

Highly recommended.

Any garmin users now manage to update the map yourself after jailbreaking? If yes, what's the step to do it?

Definitely recommended. Within seconds, it will locate u to exact location once launching the apps. Definitely win hands down since have real life traffic (again thanks to other user) ahead of the planned journey.

I've been using Google Maps with turn-by-turn voice navigator as sole GPS for my Galaxy Note.

Now feel like so cacat without it on IP5.

Why until today no one activate it Google Maps on IP5? JB?

I have in my iPhone 5. The optimization didn't really bother me but the map did not update itself. So I didn't quite like it. I'm reading for Sygic now, seems like a better choice.

EDIT: The map doesn't update even after so long. Yeah that 4/year updates were rubbish, I guess.

Google Maps already out. But have to login using iTunes US account to download.

I'm using Waze (traffic condition) and Papago (POI search).

Not sure got voice or not, but this is the routing from my iPhone 5.

Attached Image

I use Papago and Waze normally. Never use google map for routing, except to check map areas only.
