I was just asking if there is google voice navigation for Malaysia for IOS (US Apps Store, Cydia and whatnot) like in Android phone (yes been using it for a year to navigate in Malaysia with Google Map without even to root the phone).

No please dont tell me to lodge report to apple or sell my iphone 5 or buy android phone if you dont know or dont have answer for that question. Changing Itunes store from MY to USĀ  and vice versa is simply toggle the country button in itunes. So no big deal.

Google maps for android phone also no voice navigation for malaysia. But there is a hack version in android that give u voice. Just use waze. I don't see how Google map navigation is better than waze.

google maps ownhere is not better than waze?? have you use it?

Yes. I use them both. The maps in Waze is more up to date. The traffic info only exist in Waze. And Google map doesn't come with voice navigator by default. And believe or not the search is better on waze. Coz waze not only uses Google to search, but also foursquares, Bing and it's own waze search. Foursquares is the best when it comes to location search.

Waze is a navigation app. Is not meant for map viewing. Map viewing go to Google maps or apple maps

Huh?navigation also need map right?coz im traveling to korea and need the navigation too..unfortunately i cant view the map there, hope it will appear once im there

The map displays the vicinity where u are located, around a good 200 km radius. But it's rather cumbersome to zoom out and zoom into another location where u not situated, unless it's nearby. Korea is definitely not nearby. That is the so called limitation of waze. If u are in korea of course no problem to view korea maps.

how much data does waze use?
*
This morning I was using waze for about 1.5 hours. Waze was on when I was running errands. The usage for this morning was 1.16 MB exactly. Now if i do this everyday for one month I only use 35 MB. That is a very small fraction of 1GB quota given by celcom. Why are we so worried about waze's data usage?

Go with on line gps. That's the future. Offline gps sucks :
got no real time traffic update. no provide best route base on traffic condition. Cannot send Eta to friends. Cannot track each others journey to the same destination. Cannot warn you of speed trap. New roads takes months even years before appear on map vs only weeks in Waze. Can't guess you going to work at that time so you don't need to set anything coz app will default your journey for you. No social aspect. No point system to make things fun.the search sucks coz compare online search and offline which is better? Can't even tell me maybank around the area. Very slow log on it annoys the hell of you
