Ipod Touch usually renew at september. hope 4g of iphone released at wwdc 2010

+1..too many phone out there better than iphone 4 except for display..

Many people buy iPhone but not most of them are fully utilising it. dont fall for peer pressure my friend!

Launch in Sept but new iPod prob will reach M'sia only in Oct or Nov.

kinda feel the same way here but currently happy with both devices (N79 and iPod touch)

There are quite some rumors that the upcoming Ipod touch will be featured by the same specs as the Iphone 4 except for the phone calling function. Let's not talk about rumors, but focusing on what we have right now. Iphone 3gs vs Ipod touch 3rd gen.

As far as I am being exposed to, the price between a locally distributed Iphone 3gs and Ipod touch 3rd generation differed by Rm1000 + . What would make you / make you not, pick Iphone instead of Itouch ?

I personally think that buying an iPhone now is wasting of money due to its performance. iPhone 3Gs will be left out soon. iPhone 4 is coming to MY soon but iPhone 4 is rubbish. iOS 4 is not a good OS anyway. Somemore rumors about iPhone 5 or iPhone 4Gs is coming out ??? btw, IF you r going for iPod, please wait a little longer because there is a new version coming out which includes 1 or 2 camera(s) which can function like a iPhone ad according to rumors. The time will be September 2010. Well, rumors about Apple are always kinda true. Not so sure about the time and date but soon, sure there is a new version. =D

If wanting a phone, I personally pick Android. The ones from HTC. It is growing very fast recently. =)

Ipod touch for an "slim" entertaiment pack which works almost like a netbook, and a phone which allows you to connect to the world easily are perfect!

How is iPhone 4 rubbish,u own one and can maybe put some facts on the table? It is true that a new iphone will be released every july to catch up with technology..don tell me ur gona wait for iphone 10, but iphone 11 will be out the next year..u catch my drift?

ipod touch and netbooks are different categories mate, ipod touch is a pmp player and netbooks are lightweight laptops..it doesnt just work like a netbook as they are not even in the same category.

mark my words, "which works ALMOST like a netbook". Watching videos, surfing the net, listening to music, play games, facebook-ing, twitter-ing, MSN, YAHOO, SKYPE, e-mails, can be done on both iPod Touch and Netbook. This is what I meant.

upon the releasing of new iPhone in the future is true! but compare iPhone 4 with the other versions of iPhone(s). don't you think iPhone 4 is like Windows Vista when comparing Vista with other version of Windows ? lol.

Yup, Apple usually have their iPods refreshed every sept since years ago, so the rumour won't be that off the mark. At least you are getting the A4 chip in the new Touch.

But not so fast. Malaysia usually have new version of iPod Touch in stores around oct / nov, maybe due to the sirim stuff. So you have to be willing to wait a little bit longer.

I wont say that If I were u . To date, spec n feature wise, iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S trumps all other smartphones in the market. Even down to the CPU and GPU, as they share almost the same SOC design. The key differentiator should be the OS and the screen technology, of which is totally up to the buyer's preference.

Granted, iOS isn't that good on older platform, but on A4 chip it performs really well though. But yeah, on notification side Android trumps iOS, but everything else iOS fares better, in my personal opinion of course. In the end, it's all up to buyer's preference. Neither OS is rubbish nor perfect.

So if I were you, If I'm going for an Android device I'd say that phones from Samsung Galaxy S series are of better choice than any current HTC offerings.

iPhone 4 rear camera prob, white balance prob, and most of all, all antenna prob... There was also a rumour that iPhone 4 will be called back cos it would be cheaper than to suffer market share loss. To recall would cost Apple $1.5 billion, which is waaaaay lower than $5billion. But no call backs so far. Steve Job just said "we're not perfect"
