Thx. i would recommend u the best budget motel at pantai cenang Malibest motel and sandy beach motel Both hotel are better than most of the budget motel plus white sandy beach, its different from other motel (its different, u ll know it when u feel it) they offer some big family rooms which can stuck in alot of people (depends on what comfort level u want ) Right in the middle of pantai cenang, all the activities is there. get more beers and liquor and drink till u drop and sleep on the beach haha i m going there on july too with my wife but this time i want 5 star hotel |

If unlucky, they will ask you "where you going" This post has been edited by Putraskyline: Jun 20 2010, 12:04 AM |

QUOTE(Clyde_Barrow @ Jun 19 2010, 10:33 AM) Hey all, There's not much hiking trails in Langkawi but there is one up to Gunung Raya (highest peak in Langkawi). It is actually steps up there made in concrete totalling more than 4000 steps. But natural atmosphere is nice though walking under the trees and Hornbills can be spotted flying there. Lots of tongkat Ali trees too. The steps starts from the waterfalls at the Book village near Panaroma Hotel in Jalan Ulu Melaka.Anyone have information on independent hiking in Langkawi? I tried to look for info online but was unable to find any. Other trail that I know is up Gunung Matcincang where the cable car is. I think the trail was made during the construction of the cable car. |

Whatever else I need to know I'll just go there and learn on the fly. I'm leaving to Langkawi in 1 hour time for 4 days and 3 nights. Read most of you guys' recommendation, I think I'll have a blast thanks to you all. Thanks once again!Other trail that I know is up Gunung Matcincang where the cable car is.
