does anyone know where i can find minimalist shoes (like barefoot feeling when runnung/walking) in Hong Kong?

a) Vibram Five Fingers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FiveFingers)

b) Feelmax

They are sort of like Nike Free shoes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nike_Free)
*
biggrin.gif maybe you can try the Bo Hai Gai (in Cantonese) / Sport shoes street.

I recommend you Marco Polo Hong Kong at Canton Road. I stayed there last time. Good location. Down there is Harbour City shopping mall. Canton Road is the shopping strip. You can get very nice view of Hong Kong skyline. Near to Star Ferry Pier to Hong Kong island and Macau.
*
biggrin.gif I second this hotel! Good Location!~

I
I don't know the English name of 路環. Basically it's hard to find English name of any locations in Macau because it's always written in Portuguese.

But it's very convenient to go there by public bus. 26A from the bus terminal near Lisboa.

And don't forget to visit the church located in 路環. It's damn famous.

Macau 3D2N is better... There're LOTS of places to go.

Song shan cable car, black beach, the southern section of Macau island are those tourist spots I found to be awesome but often people will just bypass these places.

*
Agreed!

People will just think Macau is just Macau Peninsula (澳門半島) only! They didn't travel to attractions in Taipa and Cotai.

This is what we plan to do;

Day 01
Arrive by MAS at 1315hrs. Chk in hotel. We stay in Hotel Benito,Tsim Tsa Tsui. After chk in go to Avenue of Star and surrounding for phostopstop. Later that nite visit to Ladies Market.(or any other market worth our money?? I mean worth to shop)

Suggestion: after check in, take MRT to Mongkok for shopping, Langham PLaza/ Sport Shoes St/ Ladies St/ Esprit Outlets -> dinner -> go Avenue of Star by 8p.m -> Temple Street -> Go back to your hotel

Day 02
Visit Disney land and Citigate outlet (we don't intend to spend so much time in Disneyland. A little bit photo session here and there will be enough for us.)
Suggestion: Go to Causeway Bay (shopping) at night

Day 03
Visit The Peak, Victoria Park, Bouhimia Square, Longest Escalator and Ocean Park.
Suggestion: Early morning 8a.m Bouhimia Square -> take bus from Admiralty to Ocean Park (reaching there around 10a.m) -> leave Ocean Park around 4p.m by bus-> get down at Central -> Longest Escalator -> Visit the Peak at night

Day 04
Day trip to Macau if time permitted other wise you can recommend us what else we shud include.

Day 05
Flight departure back to KUL at 1445hrs.
Suggestion: Shopping in airport!

Our plan is to visit as many places as possible. Shopping is also my top priority.Heheheheh!! I'm looking for stuff like Adidas,Levi's,perfume, cosmetics, bags. We don't follow any tours. We just take the train, tram or buses.

Like Moody said. There's no food like we have in Malaysia.

They said the best time is between Jan-May but I'm not a big fan of cold weather. So I choose to come during summer.Plus, summer time is where u find discount/sales everywhere in HK.
*
yeah! time to get lotsa working clothes from Esprit and G2000 biggrin.gif

Casual wear from H&M, Uniqlo biggrin.gif

Not sure if this has been asked before, but which is the most recommended prepaid SIM pack in HK, assuming I mostly want to use it's data only, as roaming charges will be expensive.

I've read that there's no prepaid BlackBerry service in HK. So I'll be using the data a lot for emails.

Thanks in advance.
*
the roaming charges to call back from HK to KL via Maxis is not that expensive (around the charges of roaming in SG)
I couldnt remember the price but it is way cheaper than roaming in china/indonesia/thailand.

It seems that alot of people is recommending Dorsett Seaview in this forum. How does it compare to MetroPark Kowloon/WanChai and Central Park (Hollywood road) in terms of cleanliness, distance from public transport, and distance from city/place to eat?

Thank You
*
I stayed in Metropark Wan Chai before.

I think the location is not bad, it is around 5 mins walking distance to MRT and there are 3-4 shops for food in the same row, around 2 convenient shops in the same row too.

The rooms was spacious and clean.
