quick question: for those who has successfully installed and running the papago for android.

do we do the registration before, during or after we install the apk ? installation guide didn't state so..

I have bought the full version of Papago, installed the software based on instruction CD... can't start at all... gave me an error ( com.maction) error something.

then i went to their website downloaded the program update for tattoo...

installed and followed the instructions... I am able to get past the previous error and load into X5 Papago screen... and stuck there forever. just like vexus case. (i have already copied the MFM maps into the maps folder)

Could anyone help? just wasted RM99

I bought two android version from pcfair yesterday for my gf's and my magic. They have it running on a HTC Hero set. The map doesn't looks as nice as garmin but if it works, I don't mind. The map browsing is a bit slow with all the 3d building structures though.

Thanks bro for the feedback... I guess it will be a bit slow compare to pure GPS device.

But anyway, thanks for sharing. At least we know now that it will have some performance issue on Hero.

two android version? u mean u bought two papago for android and have one run on hero while the other on magic ?

You can always be patient and wait for papago to start supporting SEA version for tatoo, I believe it would happen b4 this year end.

yours i can confirm is map issue.

if you have installed the SEA papago version, n u have corrrectly placed the MFM map files into your x:/sdcard/navi/maps folder
then there r 2 things.

either ur files are corrupted and u need to reload it

or

u didnt buy that software through proper channels.

this year end just another 2 - 3 weeks

based on the dates release, I think so...plus they are selling the version here already so they are pressured to release it quicker.
btw you will gain if you hold on to ur license not lose. Later if they sell for RM 149, you can sell yours a little bit cheaper and profit.

3. 移除PAPAGO軟體，《設定》→《應用程式》→《管理應用程式》→《PAPAGO》→《解除安裝》
4. 將Android手機利用USB線與電腦進行連線，進行連線時，電腦將出現「歡迎使用尋找新增硬體精靈」之訊息，請忽略此提示，並選取《取消》，若未出現此提示，請繼續下列步驟以複製檔案。
5. 手機上將出線USB連線的訊息圖示，請由上而下滑動點選手機畫面上方的標題訊息列，開啟選單畫面。
6. 請選擇「USB已連接」項目，並選擇《掛載》。此時將可於電腦端選擇開啟檢視手機SD卡資料夾。
7. 將解壓縮後的所有檔案(Navi資料夾與PAPAGO.apk)複製到SD卡根目錄下(欲保留我的最愛，請備份\SD\NAVI\SAVE\PPGPOIX7.DAT即可)。

dunno lar, sent them 101000101 emails to their support email address. no one interested to reply. i wonder call them would help

I didn't buy or else I will call them... But I doubt as well if they know how...
