Hi there, I am trying to reverse tether my laptop's internet connection to my android tablet but i found that android does not support ad-hoc wireless networks by default. I also tried using bluetooth or usb/micro-usb instead of wifi to tether to no avail. What can I do to then to connect my tablet to my laptop's internet?
*I do not intend to root my tablet yet.
*Dual booting Ubuntu and Vista on laptop, internet connection via 3g broadband
*
u enable the internet sharing on ur laptop ler.. then using ur android wifi to connect to the internet

Hi there, I have a Samsung Galaxy S II which is still using the Android 3.0 firmware. I didn't root the OS but I want to know how I can select multiple photos at once in the photo gallery so that I can move my photos faster instead of holding down on each picture and select move to a new folder?

Use file manager instead. For samsung phone, "my file" is the pre-installed file manager.

why when buying an adroid phone at some shop..
after paying the phone price the seller will ask to add some money to register the phone, software warranty, etc.. they said if not do that the phone only can use to make call and msg and other basic things only..
sometimes they will ask for rm200 to do that..
what is it actually??

Maybe should list down who they are. New buyers can avoid going there.

Q: How come I don’t have the Android Market?
A: Units from some countries such Malaysia, Vietnam are replaced SlideMe market, which is a inferior version the Android market. To get it refer below.

Q: So, how do I get Android Market?
A: The best way is to just flash to a custom Rom that contains Android Market.

Could it be so old that it has the Android Market icon instead? Look for "Market" under your Apps. The Play Store used to be called the Android Market.

Seriously though, Malaysia has been selling Android phones with the Android Market since like 2010 at least. Unless you got it as an AP set from some country that doesn't have access to the Market.

Root it, backup your app data (if you have already got 3 stars for Angry Birds) then flash a different ROM that has the Play Store.

I can't help you as to HOW to do it. Google is your friend. Too bad Google isn't China's friend.

If your device is rooted, you can either use App2SD or Terminal Emulator to set the default installation dir to SD card.

If not rooted, then head to Settings> Manage Applications and then choose which app to transfer to SD card. Only one at a time.
