Nope. Auto brightness off will conserve energy and therefore save battery duration.

Just set the brightness level to nearly the lowest for a better battery life. Plus, you won't be squinting at the screen since its still clear, especially when using a dark background.

Don't think auto brightness will help alot in prolonging battery life. Setting your brightness to slightly higher than 0 should help.

In my honest opinion:
Pros: Disable those unneeded processes before they could re-launch themselves.
Cons: If you've a few unneeded processes, the Task Killer could consume more processes than those unneeded ones.

But if your device is running on Gingerbread and later, you can long press on the Home button to bring out the Task Manager.

Do not let the Task Killer run as auto. Only manual kill the task after you open many apk that seldom used. If you kill the regular running apk, more power is needed when you load it next time.

Changing to a custom ROM involved rooting the phone, which is complicated process and can't be explain by few word. I would suggest u go for other specific website for detail study before proceed. Rooting process may permanently bricked ur phone, be caution. U should only proceed after u fully understand the risk.

Alternatively, i suggest u clean up ur phone (application, cache, etc) and see any improved in the speed.

Were your Internet connection in the whole time when it was downloading or enough space for it to install?

1) internal storage
2) USB storage
3) SD card

anyone here ca explain this? what is that internal storage actually? apps & system used space ? all apps execution files only (automatic) install on that space? if yes, then the memory available are totally not enough.
what is the USB storage, something just like the space we can use right? is apps will install on the space too?

sd card, this i knew, no need explanation.

Internal Storage, is the place where you store all things you need, like apps and system. SD card is External Storage, so Internal mean inside your phone. Well, there is an apps where you can move certain of your apps to SD Card.

B) what is the USB storage, something just like the space we can use right? is apps will install on the space too?
USB storage should not able to install in there, USB storage is like pendrive/external hard disc thing.

Correct me, if someone found mistake.
