QUOTE(k3lvinng007 @ Dec 1 2010, 06:28 PM) QUOTE(ketapang @ Dec 1 2010, 10:28 PM) Thanks guys..!! All credit goes to the HAF-X and my modular power supply cables..Makes routing cables much more manageable.. but seriously, no need skill lah.. just need a lot of patience and proper planning.. oh yeah, cable ties. I used a lot of them. Just ikat them all..!! |

Oh yeah the HAF-X (and the 932) has got side panel with the slight 'hump', so a bit easier to route cables. So the solution is, buy the PSUs with those flat modular cables..!! Like the Corsair HX..!!

![]() I was shocked, although I did tell them to do a proper cable management. So, I try to do it on my own; First attempt: ![]() Still doesn't give me the satisfy "ohm" Second attempt: (next day) ![]() Took me about 40mins Guess that's the limit my chasis can do. HaHa, that time, I dam piss d, waited 2 hours++ for my rig and it's 8.30PM. (trainee if I'm not mistaken, guided by some1)BTW you can try route the CPU 12V cable from behind casing then connect to motherboard. And try separate the HDD up to one bay. My friends were waiting for me at the basement carpark, don't wanna keep them waiting, so I just grab and go. yea, bout` the 12v cable, I was thinking the same too, but too bad, tat chasis doesn't allow me. I can reroute it behind the case but no hole to exit at the top, unlike those RM200++ chasis I lower down 1 bay of the HDD cause I wanna give way to the airflow and blows directly to my GPU. But u should separate the 2 HDDs by one bay because they generate quite a lot of heat, and 2 of them stacked like that means they're heating up each other hehe

You can try route the cable with the guide i draw from ur pic. Silverstone's cable are long enough to do it. Assembly this kind of PC normally take 1 hours max. If 2 hours a bit over. |

Try hide the cables behind side panel and rearrange it. |
