QUOTE(timothyy @ Nov 2 2009, 12:12 PM) Probably you have rich parents where cash is not a problem and probably your future has been drawn out properly with a lot of bonds tied under your name. eh tim you want to bluff who amn? you from kk, no fly how to come here? take feri msia? hehe judst kidding. Do bear in mind, not everyone as lucky as you. Most of us got to work to earn wha we call hard earn money. Who doesn't know ferarri is a chick magnet car? Who doesn't know my mom is a woman. Do you know that, at ur age, u already seen what is China. Many of us, don't even get to fly in an aeroplane... even though Air Asia promotes "Everyone can fly" even at the age of 30. Go figure! techno is just a kid, his default standard is like rich standard not like us have to work to upgrade bike standard. excuse him la, he will learn that there many kinds of ppl in d world with lain lain levels of cash. techno, cash in hand can be used for other for important things, you will learn, if can pay by credit 0% interest also good. your rich dad will teach you one of these days. but agreed cash is king, only wish we all had more. |

QUOTE(M@r0R! @ Nov 2 2009, 10:06 PM) *** those car driving freeloaders! ciu cibet nia mah hai drivers, i also pay my taxes and part of it goes to their toll subsidy! as far as am i concerned, they are bodoh cibets go and compete in the jam. this main p* govt shouldjsut honour the toll agreements and float petrol, see how these linsi ppl who look down on cyclists survive. niamah! |

it is true, remember when fak lah hike up petrol by 80sen the roads were so much clearer than the air even! it shows actually how many ppl cannot afford to drive to work when forced to pay the real price and that is not even including the full toll prices (thanks to the main pan tat govt)

QUOTE(timothyy @ Nov 3 2009, 03:31 PM) I believe in lower range bike frame, most are all about the same. wah you cound like a pro edi! you cloned sniper is it?So, different brand, probably still produce by same company. e.g. Giant. But accessories... hmmm... to me, most of the items you will get with sub RM2k bike, are almost the same. Some will do gimmicks... e.g. Merida TFS 500 Malaysian version which using XT RD... to show some bling on ur bike. But you know... this won't change much in term of your bike performance. I paid RM2k+ for my Merida Matts 40. I got Hydraulic Tektro Auriga disc brake with 180mm front. But having Suntour XCT fork, no brand wheelset and chekai tires. If compared to other brand bikes, at similar pricing, e.g. BH Spyro, you get Suntour XCM, alexrims, Quadro hubs and Tioga tires. Disc brake? Shimano 575. So... just be careful. When want get.. look for performance parts. cranks 2010 deore or lower end Alivio... it actually doesn' really matter. |

nothing like riding in a tropical thunderstorm after a hard day's work! sweet!
but brakes were really a bit skittish given the serious amount of water. but i dont want to change my wheels and get disc brakes. trying to save up for a 2nd car man! ad inside the local cycling mag say spez concept store opening soon in kota damansara. like sniper, i wouldnt mind a roubaix either but i would probly get and xtc or stumpjumper HT if i was in the market for 26lb HT. but a giant anthem FTW full sus. sniper, it seems the volcano near taipei they thought was extinct is actually alive! wow! for that to happen you need to be using to the extreme everytime, like in space flight.
you ride around kiara will reach that level of usage meh? also, kif you ride cheaply, sure you ride softer right? if break then no more ride right? like a famous mtb designer said, cheap, light and strong, PICK 2. of course i woud like to ride a Ti bike, then no need worry about fatigue life (its infinite!) but v mahal! so for now, alu can la! |

i am being seduced by the xtc frames at the giant shop in hartamas, about 1500. got xtc and xtc team, the team version looks nicer coz the the giant wording is embossed onto the frame not painted. but both are sweet looking frames! so how?
