Hi, newbie here. Where do you recommend to buy bike accessories such as saddle bags, pumps, bicycle tools, lights etc ?

Would it be cheaper to import from US (ignore shipping) ? Not particularly need to be high end ..

Can't find a online store in malaysia to compare prices.

actually malaysia is waayyyy cheaper than buying from US.. unless you really2 cant find it here.. reason being that most of the bikes are made in china.. china -> malaysia transportation cost is much cheaper than US -> malaysia

What make u change to Giant? izzit the geometry not suit or something else?

I got a friend wanna give me a Fox Talas.It's got some scratch inside the tube.For servicing,the part cost RM 1k.Like that I can get a new fork instead.Haish..sayang..Fox Talas..

i mean travel, lockout, riding preference..blablabla..hehehe.. you know the drill..

its been a long time since i posted here.. who knows nowadays you are hitting the 10 foot jump at PCP..

to be honest.. yes FOX IMO is at the top when it comes to fork.. it feels different..but then again.. it depends on the people using it.. some say its good, some say the other way around..

the scratch is inside the stanchion? or inside the legs? but then bro.. the price of a new spinner enduro is quite close if you fix that talas.. well, thats if the scratch is the only problem of the fork..

Yeah... still learning/kena poisoning mar.. so wanted to get a more worthy frame to upgrade from. Alot of things won't know until try mar.

arghh!! seriously cannot tahan looking at my dad's bike right now...seriously.. its like bike porn at home.. zzz.. ill post the pics when i go back to my hometown... not to mention that he upgraded from deore -> XT crankset..

right now, the old frame sits in the store room... dunno who gonna buy it.. i for sure not gonna use it.. as he wanna sell the frame and upgrade his drivetrain plakk..

scratched stanchions ar?

if its the stanchions scratched, you can fix it pretty easily.

last time my bike fell when parked and the fork landed on a concrete flower pot. pretty surprised though! the scratches were very, very mild, not really that deep, but still can feel.

went home, mixed up some epoxies, applied it on the fork and leave it to set for 30mins. after that, use water and a 1000(or 2000, forgot) grit sandpaper and sand it until smooth smooth. took ard 5-10 minutes of continous sanding lol. now totally cannot feel the scratch at all
