QUOTE(Shinichi @ Oct 31 2009, 12:13 AM)
Hi all, between HP DV2 & Asus K40AB, which has better spec? As I think both have about the same spec... correct me if I'm wrong...

Thanks in advance.
*
k40ab has better spec.

QUOTE(gckhai @ Oct 31 2009, 12:32 AM)
1. Brand - any of it...
2. Budget - below RM3k
3. Specs. - mainly require speed and some games with not much high graphics.
4. Size. - not too heavy.

hope i can get some opinion about this...

in term of performance, benq s42 is the best out of those 3, dell is good and the toshiba *might* have the same performance with dell..
1. benq s42, p8700, nvidia 9600m gt, lowest rm 2899, usually around 3.1k
2. studio 15, t6600, ati hd4570, rm 2699
3. toshiba l510-s438, t6500, ati hd4570, rm 2899

usage? if gaming, asus k40ab/k50ab is the best bet for under 2k.
unless you can up the budget, go for dell studio 15 for rm 2699.

DDR3 ram won't matter much, no significant improvement.
studio 15 and benq s42 is different league from acer timeline.
decide which you need, performance or battery life.
benq s42 with intel gpu can reach 4 hours battery life.
