What kind of spec should I be looking at? I am actually thinking of Lenovo T400/T500 as well. What price should I expect in M'sia? They were on sale at $899 in Australia but the promotion has ended.

su7300 is poor in performance right compare to i5, p series c2d...how much can the high spec gc balance it? performance can overkill which 14" 15" ?

well, they also intend to let m11x having 6 hours battery life...
hence they use ulv processor, and might be also to let some headroom for heat for the gpu.

ok...but dats not wat i expected from a gaming laptop. i did some research and found out dell had used m11x to play modern warfare during the showcase, some of them even claimed m11x is the best laptop under 15". isit true? can m11x win xps16?

they are making this become portable gaming notebook, not the full pledged gaming notebook, you can look m15x or m17x instead.

ulv + gt335m is around 6000-7000 in 3dmark, which 14'' and 15'' can also achieve it.

is around that score.

though 3dmark is gpu oriented.
if doing cpu intensive stuff, surely m11x will lose to either one of above.

gaming is more to gpu right, the farely poor SU can be overcome by the btr GC compare to those 15" mainstream isit?

anyway, i cant expect much from a 1.8kg laptop. we cant get the best from both world.

gaming generally is more to GPU but there is some exceptional. For example GTA4 and RE5 ^^. iirc, L4D and L4D2 also depend more towards CPU. can some1 clarify this??

Well as you can see their showcase demo-ed it playing COD MW2, Crysis?(As dell said so), Left4Dead 2, Street Fighter 4 hmm.. shud be good enuf to last 2 years?

worth it, for rm 1499, its can be said the cheapest also, and it included original windows as well and backed by dell onsite warranty
